The first round of Member Mayhem is complete, leaving 32 users alive in the tournament field. The competition and grading will only get tougher from here, so make sure to bring your A-game!

In this round, you will once again have 100 words to answer your essay.

The Question: What was the most important factor in your team making it to the 2008 NCAA tournament?

Take note, the deadline for Round 2 is 6 p.m. ET, on Sunday, March 23. (Less than 50 hours away.)

	Why did my team make it to the big dance? In words that only Razorback Nation can understand, these aren’t baby pigs, these are full-grown Hogs. In today’s age of college hoops, it’s rare to see a team with as many Seniors as the Razorback team puts on the floor. The reason why the Hogs are dancing into March is because of Weems, Townes, Thomas, Hunter, Ervin, and Hill. These Razorbacks bring the fire, the heart, and the desire to win every time they hit the court; as many of them are playing for their last 40 minutes. Give ‘em Hell in Raleigh men!

	The Question: What was the most important factor in UNC making it to the 2008 NCAA tournament?*dookisevil's official entry * The ability to adapt to a player that was not their primary nor secondary point guard late in the season, due to injuries. UNC re-worked their style of play while Lawson was out for six games, and Thomas was at the helm. Many teams would have suffered a downward spiral that was unrecoverable; Carolina however, overcame this dagger, by going 5-1 during this stretch. Utilizing their deep bench and ability to forge ahead and work together, enabled them to win the ACC regular season outright, and the ACC Championship, earning them the overall #1 seed in the tournament.

	Two good posts here for sure- I had to go with Dookisevil When I got home from Birmingham couldn't believe that Belmont and I won and advanced to round two of the Mayhem "Write-off" I would appreciate any one who wants to critique or vote (especially vote) JusSaySue Thanks again dookisevil you really are the best!

	I am glad everyone is being nice this round, last round...I had a bunch of Indiana Homers hating on me and my Hogs. Looks like Eric Gordon, DJ White, and the Indiana Hoosiers are all overrated. We get to play an excellent team in North Carolina next round. I think we have the bigs inside to match up with Hansbrough. If we play like we did tonight.....53% from the field, 47% from 3-point range, 86% from the free throw line, out-rebounded Indiana by 14; we are going to be in every ball game! Thanks for the support, and I have already voted on every 2nd round game on Member Mayhem!

	Thanks for the support everybody. It was a tough question to answer. One of the main reasons we got to dance is because the SEC had such a down year, and we were able to advance even with our inconsistencies, but you saw it last night against Indiana. Senior Leadership, Weems and Townes combined for 50 of our points. Incredible!
