Scoring 72 and 77 against the defense that gave up 51 to UCLA may be indicative of the ease with which defenses handle four or five double-digit scorers each game with a different one leading each game. You seem to be enamored of the team concept, so consider the assist numbers Jayhawks posted this year: only in single digits a few time when set ups were missed too often. No basket --> no assist. KU players are more aware of teammates than any college team I've seen the last 45 years -- all their teammates, not just one or two scorers.

Wisconsin does have a great defense. Get by Davidson and we'll see how good.

This is hilarious along with about every other post in this thread.  I'm glad that Wisconsin was not impressive to Kansas/Kansas St. fans since we don't care, all that matters is winning and advancing... that's the 3rd Big 12 team we've taken down this year including Texas (who won the conference) in their own backyard... but not impressively.

Colorado... check, Texas... check, K-State... check, Kansas....

I don't know why it is so funny...  Beasley owned the first half of that game.  Nobody could stop him.  You say he disapperared in the second half and you are correct.  However Beasley tries to get the rest of his team involved because he is NOT a one on one player.  The rest of the team forgot to show up.  Wisconsin made shots, KSU didn't.  That's the reason the game was won.  Wisconsin has some good D, and they will give KU some trouble.  But they better hit those threes or KU will send them home.  KU is much more experienced then the team of freshmen you just beat.    Congratulations on the win but don't look past Davidson either 

And Wisc fans that are dogging KSU for the one man show, KSU won't make the tournament in the coming years after Beasley leaves, etc.  It's the same disrespect people give you when they say "Wisc slows it down, that's why their defense is #1".  I will admit I think it isn't as fun to watch but it works.  It's like running the football and playing defense will get you wins in football.

I don't think Beasley gave up! The rest of the team stopped playing.  He was open 3- to 4 times in the second half and the guards didn't even look at him they were to worried about trying to shoot a 3.  When he would get the ball out side everyone else on offense would just stand and watch.  No one was screening and nobody was cutting.  The same thing that happened when KSU played Missiouri,  Too much standing around, and poor shooting on the Wildcats side, and great shooting on Wisconsins end.  My feeling is that offense won this game and not Defense.
