Schmalzel, just wanted to point out (since you know the Cowboys so well) Ware was drafted BEFORE Merriman (don't know if you remember him calling Parcells a "liar" for doing that). Funny how Parcells could only turn in at best two 9-7 seasons and Wade came in (with Garrett's help) a 13-3 season... I guess you have to be undisciplined to win more games, huh? Parcells may have been a good talent evaluator, but he was a control freak when it came to coaching (wanting control of off. and def. play calling which proved to be too much and outdated). You were probably one of the folks calling for Eli and Coughlin's head before and during last season. I say if price is right, bring Pacman in to be the 3rd corner and return punts. Any fool that said he can't do both would need to look back at the last season he played.

its funny how people talk about players character and all they know is second hand information from news outlets trying to sell a newspaper or advertising slots. you dont know anything about pacman. one thing i do know is he is a hell of a football player. thecowboys have added t. o. and tank. both supposedly character problems who have performed exceptionally and have had no additional issues. even if pacman did everything that has been reported he has served his suspension and deserves to earn a living if someone is willing to employ him. cant wait to see pacman with a blue star on his helmet.

I absolutely agree Cowboyroyal. All these other people posting here seem to either seem to just be cowboy haters or think that Pac man is a complete thug that doesn't deserve any more chances. And that no one on their respective teams ever screw up or sign screwed up players. The one thing Jerry has done in past years is create a great support system for his players headed by Calvin Hill. So when guys like Tank Johnson join the team they know they are supported by the team but also held responsable for their actions. Pac man would be given a short leash. And to all those hating on TO in this thread grow up. The guy can be a pain in the butt at times, however so far he has been an amazing player and has helped Tony Romo become one of the best QB's in the NFL. And to all those pointing out T, Romo cannot seem to win a playoff game. If I remember right untill this year neither had Eli Manning. So Giants fans get off your high horse. Because the Giants are proof that shit luck is as important in this league as anything else.

As long as Pacman performs I can care less about what a player does off the field its really nobody business but there's. Schamzel answer me this dallas was the most peanlized when Bill was there to so I guess Wade got those coattails to lets see 10-6,6-10,9-7,9-7 that Bill record with this same cast of characters. and Mr softy is 13-3 Dallas lost to the Giants cause they left plays on the field; some of those penalites was BS but whateva; and its never been Jerrys job to sign choir boys.

Pacman Jones isn't a great corner but he is a good one, as far as whether or not he's worth it I really don't think he is. No matter the talent or how low the draft pick is or how "little" you're paying him it's not worth it if he's just going to get in trouble. All Pacman Jones has shown is that he's incapable of staying away from strip clubs or trouble, Now not only would that be disturbing because he seems like a shady character but also because what it tells you is that he doesn't learn from his mistakes. With Goodell cracking down on troublemakers, why go through all the PR trouble that he's almost certainly going to bring when he's probably not going to stay out of trouble long enough to actually be an asset to you on the field.

I hear they are going to put bars on the locker room at the new stadium for Dallass. It'll make him feel right at home.
But seriouisly,If he can keep clean and shake off the cobwebs it might work.A couple of years is a long time in the NFL.

When a man loses all the money he has lost,it can make you think about how stupid your actions have been.I am sure Jerry will have all type of clauses in his contract. So bring him in,and let him prove himself. If this happens teams are going to fear Dallas on both sides of the ball.He will make that good defense even better, plus I think he return punts also.

Look what TO got you, NOTHING but an older receiver. This might give you a little more but still missing pieces needed to win in playoffs. Good Luck.

"Trust me on this I'm smarter than you are!!!!.....HA HA HA HA HAHA. You're an idiot. This guy doesn't belong anywhere near a football field. He's an animal, savage and pathetic example of a human. Oh wait, but he's a "good corner." See you at the stripper pole.....

Look into the eyes of a person, and you see what Pacman-buffoon is all about...trouble...I see a cancer. The Cowboys better make sure he is reinstated before they waste the time and money on Pacman-buffoon.

You guys are idiots! Lay off the Romo-Simpson getaway, it is old news and really, right now, who cares? That was last season. And all you Giants fans, FINALLY Eli took you to the Super Bowl, and didn't lose (he sure didn't win it, the defense did), and now he is this great QB? Whatever, we'll see how "great" he is this season. And to all who keep saying "Romo can't win in the playoffs", how many times did it take Eli, or his brother Peyton for that matter? I thought so. Two years, only one as the starter all season, is in no way enough time to make any judgment calls on a QB, good or bad. He needs a couple more seasons to finalize his place in the NFL, either as a really good QB or as one of the "could-have-beens". So lay off Romo and give him a chance to become the QB he will become. And as far as Pacman goes, with a heavily-claused contract and this being his last chance, Dallas really has nothing to lose. If all you naysayers are right, they can just cut his sorry butt and not be out anything really. And if you are all wrong? Look out NFL, Dallas will have found a way to compensate for Roy Williams in the nickel defense. Don't look now morons, your ignorance is showing!

I would rather see him on a different team. The back of his jersey should say convict.Your sending the wrong message if you sign this guy.The Titans did the right thing.Character wise he is a piece of garbage. Why would you condon his actions. He may be a very good football player,so what. His actions led to a man being paralyzed. When garbage starts to stink you have to take it out.If you were very selfish and wanted to win at any cost, without honor, or integrity, you may say -this is a good move!

What you're not taking into account is that Jerry Jones will not put up with any bull sh.it from a player. If any player is hurting the integrity of the locker room, there's no doubt he will cut him.
Does anybody remember Quincy Carter? Starting quarterback one day, looking for a job the next.
Jerry Jones takes smart chances that he makes work. Has Tank Johnson been in trouble since he's been here? T.O. hasn't been a problem, we actually pay him. Jerry Jones will talk some sense into Pacman and help him realize it's his last shot at being able to afford to "make it rain."
