Children,

Just because some pathetic person with nothing better to do comes along and throws a bunch of trash does not mean we have to soil ourselves by picking it up and throwing it back.

Show a little maturity, Brother Spartans. Just ignore the cretin.

GO BIG TEN!

GO WISKY! BEAT K.ST.!

GO STATE! BEAT MEMPHIS!

uradufuss, you obviously don't know what your talking about!  Coach Izzo hasn't recruited a strong big man since Zach Randolph.  However, next year we have Devlon Roe and Draymond Green coming aboard and will be eating some Badger stew.  So, enjoy your recent 11-3 record while you can because the Spartans will turn be turning the table on your team soon.  By the way, I will be rooting for the Badgers in the Sweet 16.  I am loyal to the Big 10 but am not so sure about you the way you put down Coach Izzo.  For someone who gets outcoached all the time Izzo still has the best record of any  coach in the NCAA tourney in recent years.  4 final fours in 12 years and a national championship .  How many does Bo have?  Ryan is a great coach but I get irritated that he whines about every call that goes against hhis team.

It's hard to ignore 76.  I can't wait to have Roe and Green on board with the players we have coming back!  We'll see what happens then!  Go Green!  Go White!

Pavement13, interesting information on the WI tourney wins.  Kind of settles the arguement. One thing I could add though, is that they had UNC on the ropes in '05, but couldn't close them out. Fortunately for them they get a 10 seed next game.

Izzo has a tremedous record and has put MSU into the conversation of elite teams.  Andy Katz with ESPN college BB said the the best school over the last 10 years is MSU.

Bo Ryan, to his credit, has done a great job figuring out the recruiting and coaching for the Big 10.  Personally, I find Big 10 BB to be the worst officiated and most boring conference in the country.  I very much enjoy watching Big 10 teams (especially MSU) when they play non-conference teams in Nov-Dec and in the Tourney.  However, I don't really like watching them in Big 10 play (I do because they are my team) and over the last   couple of years I never watch other Big 10 games...they just are not enjoyable with all the fouls and whistles.  Something has to be done about Big 10 officiating or major recruits will go elsewhere.

Let's see, which one is more impressive?

Bo Ryan, Wisconsin
NCAA tournaments: 7
Tournament record: 10-6
Final Four appearances: 0
Analysis: In his seven seasons with the Badgers, the 60-year-old Ryan has gone to the NCAA tournament every year. Ryan, the first coach to lead the school to three Sweet 16 berths, took the Badgers to the Elite Eight in 2005. Ryan also has four national titles to his credit as a Division III head coach with UW-Platteville.

Tom Izzo, Michigan State
NCAA tournaments: 11
Tournament record: 26-9
Final Four appearances: 4
Analysis: He's gone to 11 consecutive NCAA tournaments, has been to four Final Fours in the last 10 years and won the national championship in 2000. His winning percentage in the Big Dance (.743) ranks fifth among active coaches.

Just because of 1 stupid Badger fan, doesn't mean that we should take shots at Bo Ryan.  He does a great job with the players he has.  Think about it.  How many Wisconsin players that he coached are in the NBA.  I think 2, in Alando Tucker and Devin Harris?

I'm sure that every year, when we Spartans area analyzing our schedule, we look at the Wisconsin game in Madison and think there is a chance we could lose that game.
