Izz o always gets top recruits, and cannot get them to produce.  Izzo can't even win a road game in the Big Ten anymore, because he gets out-coached all of the time.  Can you say Bo Ryan?  3-11 in seven years?  Izz o is a loser!

Nice post, Badger fan... try focusing on your own team.  Nice season for Wiscy, why not enjoy it rather than attacking Izzo with ridiculous statements.  Izzo stil has winning record over Wiscy, despite all the "Bo Owns Izzo" rants that are so popular in Madison.

Let's look at Bo's record after 13 seasons, will it compare to Izzo's National Championship in 2000, Final Fours in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2005???

I hope Wisconsin represents well, like all Big Ten teams this NCAA tourney... not sure why you're still focused on MSU and Izzo... you just beat us again right?.  You should be happy and moving on...

Good luck!

I think someone has a HUGE case of Izzo envy. Bo don't know squat about winning in March. Izzo is going to the hall of fame, where is Bo going? Nowhere until he can win a few in the dance. Just like a badger fan to look at a record against one team. We spartan fans look at the big picture. Too bad there is no big picture to look at in badgerland!

Let's see what happens in the tournament.  Will Wisconsin urinate on itself again?  Probably.  I'm a Big Ten fan, but I hope Wisc gets embarassed again, now that it doesn't have Big Ten refs breast feeding it.

Ryan has been to 4 final fours and won 4 national championships (Div 3, Platteville).  He is a coach, not just a recruiter.  If he got top recruits every year, like Izzo certainly does, then he'd be 14-0 against Izzo instead of just 11-3.

Who does Platteville play today?  Or are they a Fri/Sun team?  Who cares if he won in Division 3.  The Little League baseball team I coached last year came in first, too.
So what?

Yea... um... okay then... I think we'll just pretend you didn't bring up Bo's D-3 record as a valid argrument in this forum.  The 14-0 comment is even more ridiculous, considering the nature of the Wisconsin vs. MSU games in recent years... we all know (at least those who actually watch the games and understand D-1 (not D-3) basketball) that 80% of those games go down to the wire and a couple possessions, including several OT games, and tight BT tourney games, etc.... I guess you have simply chosen to forget MSU's victories altogether (including last year's win over the one-week #1 Badgers...), right?

I wonder what color the sky is in Madison, because any semblance of a realistic argument from a supposed college basketball fan has officially been vaporized.

Nice W today for Izzo (gasp!) and MSU in first round of NCAA's!  Hope the Badgers and IU follow suit... GO BIG TEN!!!

Right back at ya with the 1-star rating too... just shows you can't realistically pose an argument (as irrational it may be) and at least listen to anyone else's opinion that may slightly differ from your Badger-land viewpoint (vs. a college basketball standpoint)...

Good luck in tourney dude... I really do want to see entire Big Ten do well!!!

Izzo does get good recruits,  he has another good class coming in next year.  Sometimes they do underachive in the regular season, yet every four year player for Izzo has played in a final four.  Can Bo Ryan make that claim?  I doubt it.  Wisconson fans should be worried about how the Badgers are doing.  The Spartans played a great game today and this is just the type of team Izzo would make a run with.

I root for all big ten teams in the tourny so Badgers show some class.

And why does Izzo get the recruits...?  Because MSU wins....!  W/ Heathcote the Spartans were a mid-level B-Ball team.  Except for the Majic Johnson era.  Izzo comes to MSU, lands Mateen Cleaves in a controversial recruiting screw-up by the fab-five, and starts winning.  Once he hit the final four, he has ALL of the talent from Flint and Detroit committing to State.  I think coahing has comething to do with it.  They were not a national power until he arrived.

By the way if all of his recruits stayed for four years...Zach Randolph, Marcus Taylor, Jason Richardson....Bo would not have nearly as many wins.  Good Luck to the Badgers!!! There are the only other Big 10 team that plays solid D.

On to the Sweet 16... both MSU and Wiscy.... I guess Izzo hasn't lost his touch yet, eh?  Of course, I'm not sure how this would compare in D-3 lingo...???

Keep going Big Ten (sorry, IU, that was sad... I think Purdue just ran into a tougher team)!!!

GO STATE!!!

Uradufuss, I'm a Wisconsin fan, and I'd have to agree with all these comments from the Spartans fans.  Izzo is a great coach, and I congratulate Michigan State on their great win against a higher seeded team from a really tough conference.  Great job!

Let's show some sportsmanship here.

OUTCOACHED? Are you kidding? LOSER?

Izzo is widely regarded (by those who know about college hoops) to be one of the best coaches in the NCAA. He has the respect of every expert for both recruiting and on court decisions. Half the posts regarding Izzo refer to his practice drills and half time adjustments setting the standard for NCAA basketball.

I am new to this site, can someone tell me how to flag uradufuss as ignorant?

Bo Ryan is a good coach. Izzo is a great coach. Good luck to both teams.

By the way, dufuss, don't you find it odd that M.S.U. always finds a way to represent the big ten in March. Hard to do with a "loser" coach. Even your own team fans find you ridiculous.

So Izzo is a loser ? Wow 7 sweet sixteens in the last 11 years i consider that dominating. Coach izzo might be the best coach in march consistently because coach k at duke is losing his touch.

Izzo's freshman combined with his incoming recruits, I would be surprised if Bo Derek beats MSU at all in the near future.  At least he resembles a Badger!
