Riar Greer and Lynn Katoa have been suspended indefinately due to arrests from fighting. In my opinion Katoa going to Boulder early was a bad move. This kid should still be in high school and got thrown into the mix too early. If kids are going to continue to early enroll in college then the coaches need to keep better tabs on them to help them to make a smooth transition. According to reports his friend got hit with a stun gun and then he retaliated. These kids have got to understand that they have nothing to prove by fighting. At some point they need to make the decision to hold back and call the cops if necesary. Was this incident worth possibly losing a years worth of playing time? Riar Greer has no excuse in my mind and I feel that he should definitely lose a years worth of playing time so that he and other student athletes learn the ramifications of their actions off the field.

I agree with what your saying. Being young and big and in the public eye trouble will try to find you. I also want to find out the entire story before these guys get branded. Temporary suspension until charges are brought or school action is a good move. If they are guilty supend them for a year or boot them from the team completely no matter how talented. That crap is in the past and guys need to grow up.
