Who do you think will win the New Orleans Regional championship? I've never seen a lower seed advance to the Final Four, so naturally I chose not to list 9-16. They don't have a chance!

I picked Louisiana State, I just think Sylvia Fowles will advance her team.

5 Final 4's in a Row - maybe, but nothing will be right until LSU wins a title.
Will it be this year with their 8 seniors?
First they have to show they can beat 3 big teams in a row, starting with UNC Monday night. LSU has lost tough road games vs. Rutgers, MD and Mid TN St, and to TN on a (somewhat) neutral court. UConn was their only Home loss.
Not sure if it's possible to win 3 in a row on (somewhat) neutral courts against the type competition they'll face in the next 3 games, if they last that long. But, if any team can do it - IMHO - it is this team. Would be a great way to end this 5 year stretch with Semoine and Sylvia. One big win.

LSU has a chance. With Sylvia they have one of the best centers in the country. Depends on how White performs. If she has a good game, I believe the Tigers will win the South Regional.

LSU took it b/c UNC really had no answer for Fowles, not even the refs could shut her down. Five in a row is very impressive--I'd like to see them win a semi-final game, going 0 for 4 in the last 4 and not even playing it close since 2004.

and we held the Heels to their lowest point total this year! Great D wins championships, so I hope this is a foreshadowing of things to come.

Well, GTF:

Good prediction. Guess going 6 of 6 on FTs in the last min. or so is what cemented it for LSU, but White's overall steady plan on Off. and Def. sets the tone for the team. Leblanc played another good game for Tigers, too. Her 3-ptr increased lead to 6 pts (I think) when the lead seemed to be slipping away again, and then she hit 2 FTs herself.
Very good game. UNC's coach said something like: 'who wants to watch a 56-50 game.' I can think of a few folks who might disagree with her. But I know what she meant. It's no fun to lose a low scoring game, especially when they planned to score bunches of points and get the game up into the 80s or higher.
Glad it worked out for the Tigers. Now to win a Nat'l Semi game and, who knows, maybe go all the way. UT is possibly waiting on them this year, if they win tomorrow night.

I do believe that You are pretty correct in assuming that LSU will be the next NATIONAL CHAMPIONS in the WNCAAB. I have been saying this for so long now and this game lastnight was nothing more then a defensive game that shut down the Tar Heels. And as they had said in the earlier reports, is that LSU should have been rated a #1 TEAM along with the Tar Heels.
And could You have imagined what the score would have been if the shos would have been if the baskets would have fallen in for the Lady Tigers. It was a very good game and a game worth watching lastnight and I have to take my hat off to Coach Van Chancellor and Sylvia Fowles, Chaney, White, LeBlanc, Thomas, Hightower and the rest of the Lady Tigers. What a well played game the played lastnight .
I just hope that they are ready to go to Tampa and play Tennessee or Texas A&M , who they have beat already this season, and then to play Stanford or Rutgers, for their shots will have to be on.
