indeed- rational reasoning would dictate the trade.  although , i have i pet peve of taking declining players for high upside players.  in hindsight, its easy to say "bad trade" ...at the time i wasnt too upset but i knew it would come back to bite us.  in 'hindsight'" , yes, it was one of the worst trades ever.. but that being said, it was one bad apple in the misdt of fantastic jocketty genius
