Is there a reason USA can't beat Butler?

I don't see why we can't beat Butler.  They are the #10 team in the country and all of their fans think they got hosed by getting a #7 seed but who did they beat?  I realize they only lost 3 games all year but they didn't beat anyone of note.  They played 1 tournament team (Drake) and lost.  USA has played 5 games against tournament teams this year and won 4 (Mississippi State, San Diego, and Western Kentucky twice) not to mention that one of those wins was against the SEC West Champion, they went to 2 overtimes with Vanderbilt, at Vanderbilt (where Kentucky lost by 41) and lost by 3 to Ole Miss when they were the hottest team in the SEC at the begining of the year.  Despite all of this, I'm not hearing USA mentioned as an early round upset pick.  Why can't USA win?

Many think we cant because the media talks us down all the time. I think we can beat them. I thought the same when i looked at their games. We just need to be ready to play and Bennett to have a hot hand.

The media doesn't respect the Sun Belt Champs why would they respect USA? BTW Butler wins by double digits.

Butler has the tourny experience and senior players, giving them the edge in the media, but if Bennett and Hayles get hot, then it's going to be in the bag.  I think Butler also maybe already looking at a Tennessee matchup and not giving much heed to the Jags.
