Let's talk about something else aside from how badly Wisconsin got screwed. Let's instead talk matchup. How does Wisconsin match up against KSU or USC. How do they guard O.J. Mayo, or Taj Gibson, or Michael Beasley? Who on either team guards Brian Butch? Some prognosticators have claimed this is a potential upset, but based on the comments in this region, I expect there will be plenty of argument there.

It should be clear from their losses that Wisconsin's biggest weakness is perimeter defense. Duke, Purdue and Maruqette are all great perimeter shooting teams. How has Wisconsin improved their perimeter defense down the stretch, and how will they effectively defend against USC, who, if they get by KSU, can shoot from the outside against Wisconsin? That could be one of the best games of the tournament, if the basketball gods allow it.
