My Favorite Duke Moment:
-March 28, 1992. It's Duke Vs. Kentucky in the Elite Eight with a trip to the Final Four on the line. Duke is trailing 102-103 in Overtime with 2.1 seconds left. Grant Hill inbounding, He heaves the ball full-court to Christian Laettner. Laettner dribbles, turns, and nails the jumper to win the game!! What an Incredible game it was. Duke would later advance to and win the National Championship Game. Thus, the moment holds even greater value for me, as a Duke fan, as it helped propel them to their 2nd Championship in 2 years.

March 2008 - A-Sun history was made when the Belmont Bruins made their third consecutive NCAA appearance. Losses to UCLA and Georgetown had prepared them. The Belmont Bruins under Coach Byrd were riding a 13-game winning streak with Belmont #4 in the nation in 3-point field goals ( attempting an average of 28.9 and connecting on 36.9 percent, and scored a league-leading 82.6 points a game) Led by first-team guard Justin Hare (15.1 points) the Belmont's evenly spread offensive attack, featuring four players scoring in double digits stunned Duke.

I had to try a "trick" play since Belmont was so over mateched. I put mine in a text counter and it said 100 exactly.

I thought that this was supposed to be a Moment that has already occured.. Not a Possibility.... Either way, Yeah would be a heck of a moment, Good Luck to you JusSaySue, and Good Luck to Belmont.. I don't think this is Duke's year to make the Final Four, or even the Elite Eight.. They're lineup is too small.. Brian Zoubek is too soft in the post, and he lacks the awareness of his fellow centers in the league. We rely too much on our perimeter game, and on fastbreak points and opportunities. We also get out-rebounded often, even though the numbers don't show it. We live or die by the three, so unless we're hot from behind the arc, or at least mediocre in some cases, then we won't have a good chance at winning any game. I hope Paulus, Nelson, Henderson, Singler, Thomas, Scheyer, King, and Smith can work together for us, otherwise we have no shot. At least we have a deep bench.. I still don't believe Zoubek will ever be aggressive enough to be considered a decent center.. He shows a huge lack of awareness and aggression.

I guess.. But was it permitted? I'm not sure, when they say Favorite Moment in ____ History, That seems to be implying that it's already occured.. You weren't really overmatched in voting.. People naturally hate Duke.. As you see, I was already losing the voting prior to you posting your Favorite Moment.. You're actually favored, and You'll probably win by the looks of the voting.. I'm not sure why everyone hates Duke so much.. But that's life, Bias naturally exists ubiquitously, and it is always a factor.

Magicfan1423 hope you know I wasn't trying to cheat you or Duke for Belmont.
Just wrote the entrance paragraph cause felt badly for them no one was picking them and I was in Tennessee at the moment. I only know a little about Belmont men basketball. Mainly that the coach at NIU went to Belmont and of course watched them lose the last two years. I am sure the voting will be all up and down and around.
Just have some great friends on CBS and hoping they will like what I wrote and vote for mine.
