The Member Mayhem field in finally set! In round one, users have a maximum of 100 words to answer this question – What is your favorite (insert your team name here) moment?

Remember, the poll section counts for 20 percent of your total score, so the more votes you can get the better you’ll do! Your submission period will end and the polls will close on Friday afternoon. Obviously, the sooner you submit your essay the more votes you will get. Good luck and have fun!

* We were very lenient while evaluating nominations, but grades will be very important in this part of the tournament, so make sure you review the rules.

Good luck and have fun! Let the posting/voting begin!

One of the best teams in school history, excellent team chemistry, talent and depth... Stanford finished the year with a trip to the Final Four, league and national honors… broke or tied 18 school, Maples and NCAA records.

Nothing epitomizes that 1998 team more than their riveting comeback in the Midwest Regional against Rhode Island. Arthur Lee carried Stanford to its first Final Four in five decades (the first since winning it all 1942!). Lee scored 13 of his 26 points in the final 2:04 and made a steal that gave the Cardinal the lead for good. Pure Cardinal comeback!

I appreciate your votes, although I'm pretty sure you're all mostly voting because you have no doubt that Stanford will win its first round match-up.  Nevertheless, thanks a million!

Hey Lelanjr it's looking pretty dead in here and so far it looks like you have a pretty good lead.Stanford should be able to beat Cornell pretty good.Good luck to you and I gave you the vote.Check out my essay on my Oral Roberts team who i'm hoping will upset the number 4 seed Pittsburgh.

Yea, I'm wondering why people would sign-up to participate, get chosen, then not bother participating.

Good essay lelandjr.  I'm in Oregon and follow the Pac-10 pretty close.  Stanford has a solid squad, the Lopez's make a nice front, but they can't seem to figure out how to beat them Bruins.  Fortunately they won't have to face them till the Final 4, so maybe they'll figure out a way to beat them between now and then.

I was happy to be chosen as Portland State's spokesman and so far my opponent hasn't done an essay either.  This is PSU's first trip to the ncaa tournament, so it's a pretty jubilant time in Portland.

Good luck to ya.  I gave you my vote.
