North Carolina is clearly favored here, but which other team in this region do you think pose the biggest threat?

I think Tennesee because they can really shoot it. I am a Carolina fan and I think the East is loaded. If UNC does not play defense they can be beaten.

If IU gets it together, look out...2 likely first round draft picks on the team in DJ White and Eric Gordon, they could cause problems if UNC isn't careful second round...of course they have to get past Arkansas first round, but i think they will

I am a huge UNC fan..but they get me nervous...especially how they did not handle Clemson's press today that well early on...a lot of turnovers and if they dont shoot well from the outside they are beatable.

Yes, UNC can be beaten, ask Maryland and dook. The east region is by far the toughest and the 2nd round matchup with Arky or Indiana is going to be tough for my Heels. GO HEELS!!!

Like NDIrish said, if IU can get it together, then UNC is in for a tough test. I'm a huge IU fan, but I just don't think that they will get it together. Since Sampson left, so has the heart. Sad though.

If Chris Lofton has enough good days, then Tennesse has a shot at being the "biggest" threat. Aside from that, the previous posters have all made valid points.
Wazzu's defense is pretty solid, and while I wouldn't go as far as to place them as an Elite Eight team, I think they will be the biggest challenge for UNC, especially since those Pac-10 schools play a different style of ball than the ACC. It'll be interesting to see if Roy can get his boys to adjust accordingly....In case of the unlikely upset, Tennessee will have a bad day against Wazzu.

i think Tenn. may be the most talented team in the region and can beat UNC. then they have to get through either a talented IU or a red hot Ark. team. they don't have an easy path to get to the final four and even if they get there there is a chance they will play Kansas who is another very talented and experienced team.

Obviously they can be beaten, they have two losses. If anyone in this region can do it, Tennessee has the best shot. Like UNC, they have great wins (Xavier, Vandy, Memphis) and good wins (Temple, WVU, WKU, Gonzaga, Ole Miss, OSU, Miss St, Ark) and no bad losses. Their schedule was even tougher than UNC’s, so they have a real shot is they both make the finals.

This is March Madness......Everthing can happen....I think IU or ARK can beat them.....also WAZU can if they get by ND...I would Love to see the slow pace of WAZU vs the Fast pace of UNC.....Also TENN and Louisville can.......
