Memphis having to play in Houston with Texas is just wrong, The Longhorns should have been put in another region, The south looks to me to be the toughest but hey the South will rise again.

Go Tigers

This is such a crock. So, let me get this straight, Kansas beats Texas to theoretically keep Texas from getting a number one seed, but they lose and go 28-6 and end up with a #2 seed in which their Elite Game would be basically at home agains the #1 seed. Come on, committee, put a little more thought into the tournament next year. This would never, ever happen to a NC or Duke #1 seed.

Guess this means we are going to have to roast some beef when the tigers come to Texas!!!

Screwed? Memphis plays a quasi-season (with the exception of the Tennessee game, which they LOST, they essentially play no one once their conference schedule commences). Anyways, looking forward to seeing Texas play MSU/Pitt winner in Houston.

Memphis was only 3-0 against Big East and 2-0 against Pac-10. I guess you're right we play a bunch of nobody's.

Yeah 3-0 Big East and 2-0 PAC 10. Oh yeah one of those Big East teams just happens to be a number 2 seed which we beat by 14

Guys, we can't be concerned about where they put us or who we'll have to play.  We would have some extremely tough games to get to that Texas matchup anyway.  Take em one at a time and deal with it when the time comes.  Then beat Texas 2 hours from their home.  That will make it all the sweeter.  It's been us against the world all year.  Why should it be any different now.  I believe in the Tigers as we all do.  They believe in each other.  This is gonna be fun.  I have a feeling......a really good feeling about this.

GO TIGERS GO

Boy you could see this one coming. But all we have to do is beat Texas and show everyone we are the team they say we are not. But whose to say Texas will be there.

Memphis beat two of the best from the Big East (Georgetown and Connecticut), two of the best from the Pac-10 (Southern California and Arizona), one of the best from the Big 12 (Oklahoma) and the West Coast Conference champion (Gonzaga) this season. That's why this No. 1 seed should have been 1 overall

& the Final 4 is in San Antonio.  Everyone's talking about UNC's quasi-home court advantage, but the smart money's (unfortunately) on TEX.   (Little Rock-Houston-San Antonio)   :-(

Memphis will have to tangle with the owls of Temple. The ghosts of John Chaney will reach out and strangle the opposition as Bill Cosby delivers a knockout blow with a puddin' pop.  Owls win 45-42

Memphis plays within themselves. Nobody gets within 20 of them. Memphis plays disciplined ball. Nobody within 30 of them. The only thing that can beat memphis'  talent is  their own thick heads. They play together . Texas couldn't beat them in the toilet cake looking stadium texas calls home
