We both got a long way to go in a very very tough region (you guys playing Indiana in 2nd rd. and us playing Butler) but if we both make it to the elite 8 game.... Should be the game of the year!! I know a lot of Tennesse fans will probably be upset with the number 2 seed, but I like it. Anyone who has watched UT in any sport knows we are better as the underdog than the favorite. We have to beat these teams anyway so.... Lets get it on!

The region is very tough. That's ok though, it will be much sweeter if my Heels can close the deal. I can hardly wait. I look forward to seeing the Vols in the regional championship (Provided both teams take care of business). Let's go Heels!!!

I've been waiting all year for a rematch with Georgetown, but if it's going to be Tennessee it will be a heck of a game. I watched the Tenn/Memphis game rooting for Tenn, but now it's Go Heels.

I hear ya vol fan, good luck in your side of the bracket. UNC never gets an easy trip to the Sweet 16, Elite 8, or the Final 4. Either way we've got to win them all to win the title! GO HEELS!!!

I agree, a showdown between UNC and Tennessee would be excellent. I hope both teams make it that far.
I believe Doyel just stated that Ty Lawson getting injured was close to "lucky" and the Tar Heels are now prepared in case Lawson gets injured again... Wow, thank you Doyel. Your analysis of the Heels blows me away, it's genius. I mean, if Lawson gets hurt again, you may be right, they've played without him before! And now, Thomas is one of the best back-ups ever?
Do me a favor Doyel, write an article like this about EVERY team in the NCAA tournament. That way, the world will know how prepared these teams are, you know, if for instance they had any "lucky" injuries during the regular season or if they have any quality back-ups at every position.

So... Is any other team lacking an initial intimidating post presence in the form of an All-American center? This is definitely a weakness for UNC... Oh no, Doyel, they better work on finding a back-up center to be able to compete with the rest of the field!
I'm sorry, sometimes it bothers me that Doyel gets paid to write crap like this. CBS would have no troubles finding a better writer...

ok man, as much as i don't like doyel, you need to shutup, you seriously are stupid. he is trying to say that UNC is by far the best team in the country, and your saying he is stupid. grow up man, i thought this was actually a good article, he was pointing out that now thomas is finally good, so just in case something happens to lawson AGAIN, they have a backup plan, and if nothing happens to lawson, then they have a great guy on the bench. your like so technical of doyel, do you like go on this site, JUST to see what doyel writes and just say bad stuff about him? grow up dude, your only saying crap about doyel because everyone else says crap about him, your just trying to fit into the crowd, what are you, 13?

Personally I can see IU losing to Arkansas in the first round. It just depends on what team comes out to play.
As if IU wasn't bad enough, I really do feel like Notre Dame can cause problems. We do not have the best 3 point defense, and ND could really get hot. That being said, ND has some trouble scoring, so who knows.
Before Louisville lost in the Big East Tourney, I would have said that Louisville could come out a winner if they played Tennessee, but now, I have to think the Vols will make it to the Elite Eight without too much trouble.
One thing I do know (and this isn't to knock UT at all) if the Heels make it to the Final Four, they will be pretty battle tested by that point, and shouldn't be as scared of teams like Kansas or Georgetown with that region behind their belt. Let's just hope the Heels feed off the crowd, start playing lock-down D, and get the job done!!!
