i can pretty well pick a clemson fan out of any crowd. yes the orange and purple are a dead giveaway. it is also easy to pick out the clemson fans at williams brice, we are the ones that are celebrating every other year after each touchdown during the beating our team is dishing out! It is a little harder to pick out Cock supporters (and i giggle) because they wear so much black. I guess that symbolizes death, like they came to see their team get buried.Come to think of it, they do get planted quite a bit, don't they.

I do appreciate all of the warm welcome! I can't wait to get up there, and I'm not too worried about what the guy from Ohio said. I'd rather go to a school that only has one national championship than to another school that's been killed in 2 of their last 3 NC appearances (and the other that was won with unending controversy). Besides, South Carolina is much nicer than Ohio and the people couldn't be friendlier. Oh and by the way, Woody Hayes lacked class and was a total dick...just thought I'd throw that out there.

Hey Gators, welcome to Clemson and the Tiger family. We welcome all who wish to be a part of the best university in this state.
Also, Woody Hayes suffered from chronic bedwetting and bouts of bleeding hemmorhoids.... not many people knew that. Sometimes the two would cross one another and the resulting sleeplessness would cause him to explode in angry outbursts and embarrass the Ohio State university.
But nevertheless, again, welcome to South Carolina, home of the Tigers !

Good Ol' Boy system my A**... Ohio State knows nothin other than this system. LSU, Ohio St., Tennessee, all of their coaches are bag men givin out money left n right, yet it only gets a national championship every decade. At least Tommy Bowden has the respect to treat recruits as people, and not as an object like Ohio St. Bowden brings players n because he is a role model for the young athletes, and not because of money. Also, I'm not even biased being im a UVA fan, but I know that Clemson is a respectable university, and although small, is one of the nicest towns in South Carolina.

Hey everyone,
This is Michael (user ID "gators"). I was the one who originated this thread and just wanted to let all of you know that this is my new user ID. On a side note, I was surprised at how many people on this website keep thinking that LSU's stadium is Death Valley. Last time I checked, the real Death Valley (i.e. Clemson) originates back to the late '30s and was official by the '50s. Wasn't LSU's stadium nicknamed "Deaf" Valley, and people thought it was "Death", so they just started calling it that instead? Either way, I can't wait to move up to Clemson in July and get the hell out of Northwestern Florida!

I am a Georgia fan that lives in the Clemson area, I have grown to love Clemson, not as much as Georgia, but just the same, This ohio state Pri.. is just another example of why SO MANY people on these boards have learned to hate osu. He just came here to start trouble. They can't beat any good football teams so they have to come on these board and take their frustraitions out on good, fun football people. best thing to do to rats like him is just to ignore him. He has probably never even been to South Carolina, or Clemson. Clemson is a great place and a great school. The coeds are not that bad either . Good luck Tiger fans, win the ACC this season and maybe we will have a UGA Clemson NCG this year.

this is my first time seeing this thread, havent been here in awhile, but still thought id reply to the stupid military boy ohio state fan: i do see a lot of bowties and boat shoes. i dont think there is anything wrong with that. unlike ohio, we live on the coast: boat shoes and fishing sunglasses like costa del mars actually get used for their purposes. Theres a lot of old money in the state of south carolina and just because we wear nicer clothes than you doesnt mean we are flaunting it: its how we were raised, with a sense of class and self-respect. im not sure if ive ever seen a pair of pink pants, but even if i have, im sorry you only have the option of military green and brown. im not going to go to fort bragg and criticize all of them for having short hair and wearing ACUs, so piss off if you dont like clemson. and classifying it as preppy and yuppy [sic] are both incorrect. it is far from "prep" and far from urban (in case you dont know what a yuppie is: young urban professional).
im sorry that nobody on the fraternity quad would give you a beer or a liquor drink when you came to tailgate: dont hate the group because you dont fit in... were friendly people if you wouldnt be so hostile and actually tried to relate.
and as far as our program going nowhere.... hah.
