hey Clemson fans!

I just got back from interviewing at Clemson for grad assistantships in the Student Affairs program (it's a masters degree).  I should be able to get in to the program and I am very excited to be a part of the Clemson community!  One question...how can I get my user name changed on this website?  I still like Florida, but I think it seems out of place since I'll be going to Clemson now.

Also, where are some good places to eat?

You will love living in Clemson.  We welcome you to our small, but vibrant city where the Blue Ridge yawns its greatness, where the Tigers play.

I concur with the list of restaurants submitted by  allorange.  When you want to spend some big money on dinner, go to Calhoun Corners or Pixie & Bill's.  Additionally, there will soon be a new Beef O'Brady's Sports Pub opening in Clemson.  Being from Florida, I'm sure that you are probably familiar with this fun spot for sports, food and drink.

In the new Tillman Village shopping center on SC 93.  There is a new Food Lion there too.  It's just before you get to Bi-Lo.

The Beef O' Brady's should be open in late May or June.  It should be a great place to watch ballgames and pick up wings for tailgating.

So,  OSU_Airborne doesn't care for the southern hospitality of Clemson.  After reading his rude comments, I don't imagine he made too many friends while in Tigertown.

Frankly, I've never seen pink pants or bow ties in Clemson and I spend 360 days a year here.  To me Clemson is about as close to heaven on earth that anyone can find within these United States.  Lots of students, alumni and townspeople will agree with me.

It's fine with me if "no one from up north knows, or cares where this town is located".  This way, it will remain an uncrowded, yet thriving, small southern town void of big city yankees.

I promise you the weather is better than in the state of Ohio and at least we don't wear our nuts on our helmets.

Smelc, HOW CAN YOU BLATANTLY LIE TO THE MAN,  you say that you live in clemson year round and have never seen a bowtie, pink pants, boat shoes!!!! WHERE IN TOWN DO YOU LIVE!!!!  Go downtown, or better yet, the fraternity quad, on one of your lame college football games, with your lame tailgating and you will see clones of this image.

OMG so fricking funny, dude you are absolutley hilarious, way to back up your lies with cheesy humor.  You actually wear  the memory of all your embarrassing seasons on your helmets, or better yet a mascot that is as unorginal as LSU and Auburn. 

The only reason I wrote that original email is to offer a different opinion of this town, granted it is a whole lot better than Fort Bragg, NC where I currently live, but being in the Army I have seen a lot of the United States, and Clemson is full of racist WASPS, and yuppy students, and ignorant rednecks, and people trying to force their religion down your throat.  You will enjoy the town if you are white, wealthy, and a little B&*ch.
