Pitching wins championships and we simply don't have it. Oswalt is our only proven starter and Valverde anchors a shallow bullpen. I like Rodriguez (at home) and Backe but they simply aren't seasoned enough to put together 12 wins a piece which we will need to succeed. The bats will have to win a lot of games. I am also interested in seeing how our defense performs this year. Unfortunately, I don't think our pitching will get any additional help behind them (especially on the left side w/Tejada and Wigginton). We are in for a long season.
