I thought Robinson would get cut because of the depth Packers had @ WR. He stayed out of trouble when he was reinstated. Before all his trouble he was a big time WR & KR. I say the Eagles give him a chance.  With no true #1 we need all the skill and depth we can have. He is 6'2 also

It's weird. As soon as I read this, I saw on ESPN that he was cut.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Eagles taking a chance on Robinson.  If he gets in trouble, get rid of him because we could use some solid competition at the WR position.  We didn't land a big WR this offseason and we didn't pick up anyone to really push the veteran receivers.  Adding another veteran WR who can play pretty well seems like a good idea to me.  E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!

Kevin Curtis 1110 yards 7 tds could be a number avant looked solid reggie looked solid i hope desean is a new Steve Smith i see alot of smith in him except the heart smith brings. but i like the WR core this year i think Mcnabb will have MVP numbers and not to mention the little beast who lines up behind. im from st.louis but damn i love the Eagles WOOO

I think that we are missing the fact that WR is not our only problem.  It does not appear we are going to get a big name receiver and we know that we have trouble scoring in the redzone.  WE ALSO NEED A TE.  If we are relying on L.J. Smith staying healthy all season that is a big IF.  The guy can't block and has not lived up to his potential receiving (his best season was when Jeff Garcia was here because he can't throw the ball deep).  Last year we relied on Matt Schobel and Brent Celek?!?  I don't even think these guys would make most teams rosters and they started for the Eagles most of last season.  I think a terrific alternative to getting a big name receiver is taking some pressure off the one's we have by getting a solid TE that can make some plays.

Why wouldn't Brent Celek make most rosters? I don't care for Schobel, but It'd be nice if for once someone backed up a statement like that on here. What's the reason?

Yeah I don't buy that Brent Celek couldn't make most rosters.  I think when given the chance he could be a really good TE for us.  He showed signs of being very athletic and quick for a TE last year.  Of course since he was a rookie he wasn't going to get the reps last year to make a big impact, but if he has a good camp this year, he should catch some more balls.

I knew that would get some panties in a bunch!  lol!  That guy shows every quality of being clumsy.  He doesn't run very good routes, dropped more than a few passes, he is slow and plays soft for his size.  He started in 4 games and played in 16 and only had 178 yards last season.  If you think this guy is the TE of the future, you are sadly mistaken.  Almost every playoff team last season had a better than average TE:

Redskins, Giants (including Boss), Tampa, Pittsburgh, Indy, San Diego, New England, Dallas, Green Bay.........need I continue.  The point is you need a TE to open up a defense unless your running or passing game is that steller which neither of ours is that steller.  If you are happy with Celek that is fine but I watched every play last year and if you saw a superstar in his 178 yards last season than you have good vision!

who's making Celek out to be a #1 TE (or a superstar!!!???!!!). i don't think thats what Bish and MVK are saying. Do i think he's a solid young #2 next year... hell yes. Would i ever want to see him as our #1... most likely not.

course i think LJ Smith is fully healthy and will have a 50-60 rec season.
