After Richmond was predicted to finish 12th in the A-10, they come out and stun the conference by finishing 4th.  Now I know this was a topsy-turvy year for the A-10, but still the Spider's amazing 4th place seeding in the tournament cannot be overlooked.  Mooney and this young team have gone from 8-22 to 16-13 and have conjured up an even more impressive conference record.  I am a big Spider fan, but I know that they will probably lose to St. Joes.  Even if they do, its fine because Richmond has had a great season and no one believed they could do and they did.  The students shirts say, "Don't stop believing, hold on that feeling." (A journey song).  Maybe it should say "Don't stop believing in the NIT, a home game."  Face it, its possible and a good run in the tournament would set that in stone.  Have faith in the Richmond Spiders.  More people should come to the games, including the students to cheer them on.  I don't understand why more people go to the VCU games.  Richmond played thier way out of that crummy conference and are going strong in the A-10.  I just want to express my joy and amazement for the Spiders and thier great season.  Good Luck against St. Joes.(Unless Fordham can pull of the upset of the century on the Hawks).  Go Spiders!
