Just read an article on Aggieathletics.com reporting a deal between Texas A&M and Arkansas to play each other for 10 years starting October 3, 2009 at the Dallas Cowboys new stadium with the Razorbacks being the home team on odd years and the Aggies the home team on even years.  I can't wait to go see these games, with my wife being from Arkansas and me being a lifetime Aggie fan, should be very interesting.

I like the idea of re-igniting an old SWC rivalry; but it could bite us in the @$$. If we let Arkansas come in to DFW and pullout some wins, then Arkansas may be able to start recruiting Texas. Kinda like how Oklahomo uses the t.u. game in Dallas to recruit. I hear that ITTech is working on a deal with LSU to play in Texas, as well... let's hope that it doesn't pan out.

I think there are enough players in Texas to go around. Almost every BCS team has one anyway.

A&M needs to play more teams like this and fewer games against Montana State.

I love this deal.  It is also a slap in tu's face, because the fans wanted to get this deal for them.

I really like this move, it gives us some more solid strength of schedule year in and year out. As well as it connects us with the SEC, if we play them well contunually we will gain more of the public eye. Also just look at it from our players perspective they will get to play some real teams earlier in the year, which should motivate them more towards excellence instead of just beating down a bad team. I just really like to see our guys play some more quality teams outside of the Big12, we will have to improve though or we will just get stomped on every year. Oh and TV coverage should be great we shouldnt have problems getting on TV in this game every year.

I am excited to see the Razorbacks playing the Aggies.  It has been a long time since they left us and went to the SEC.  Time to get the rivalry going.  Gig Em.

Oh Hell Yes!

I love playing one of our biggest rivals in the old SWC! I still think that we should join the SEC. They are the top conference in college football!

I like the deal, but you can probably kiss road trips good bye during the 10 year agreement....

No more trips to places like Miami, Va Tech, Pitt or anything like that.... Going to Dallas & playing Arkansas will be the extent of it now.....

Gotta love the $5 Mil each school will get every year.... And the recruiting "SHOULD" improve also...

Dominating the series could go a long way to helping A&M in the future.

This is great for A&M and Arkansas. Publicity and Recruiting should improve both ways. And to whoever said Arkansas will move into Texas recruits...who says they haven't already? After the last few seasons I'm sure they can get almost as many Texas highschool players as LSU or Oklahoma. Here are the rivalry stats ... so far the record between Arkansas and A&M is 38-34-3 with the Aggies winning the last meeting in '91 13-3

The stadiium is awesome, its sooo big already when you drive by and its not near done. It's gonna cost over 1.1 billion, twice as much as Reliant in Houston
