Kidd is perfect!!

When Dirk is healthy/playing Jason Kidd is perfect for this team. The New Jersey game was a great example where he only scored like 3 points but had 13 dishes! Thats exactly what this team needed,  a point guard who controls the floor!!

The Jason Kidd era will look great when J Ho comes out of his funk and starts slashing to the basket again!

What about Kidd's effect on Eric Dampier...WOW!!

First off I want to say that Jason Kidd is one of my favorite players of all time.  However I will say that the trade for him was extremely stupid, they gave up a potential top 5 point guard down the road, for an aging veteran who is a mere shadow of what he once was.  The move alone was not enough to push the Mavericks to even the same stratosphere as the Lakers and the Spurs, I would even say they would struggle with Utah.  Kidd was once a great player, however, he is not the Jason Kidd of old, the only thing he can really give the mavs is veteran leadership.
