After posting something like this on the Mets board, I wondered-who is the most liked player in baseball? So I decided, out of my boredom waiting for the season to begin, to find out. I am posting messages on every team's board just like this one. If, after Ten Days, a player is leading the Polls by 10% or more, they will be nominated as their team's favorite player. Then, I will post polls in the general MLB boards, and after several polls, I will be able to find out who is the most liked player in baseball.
Good poll,the DOC win's hands down this guy is a horse on the mound and give's a 110% even if hurting.I'm a Yankee fan,but I respect Halladay's work ethic and his approach to the game.
i had to vote for doc simply because he is a top 5 starter in the majors. it was close with v-dub though and i am conmpletely shocked that he has no received any votes yet.
Not surprised to see VW not get any, or at least very few votes. AS a fan you watch him play and sure he has talent but he has absolutely no heart and it shows when he's out there. First pitch swinging at everything, constantly swinging at pitches out of the strike zone, he doesn't care to help his team out by taking pitches, working the count etc. All the talent in the world but no heart. Not a surprise either to see Doc taking the majority of the votes. The guys been a stud for years and hopefully will stay with the Jays his whole career, and hopefully we can get him a title for that loyalty!
DOC for sure, hes one of THE best pitchers in the mlb, top 5 if anything
even when he gives up 2 home runs and is losing 2-0, hell start playing better, its like he feeds off of other players doing well, hell always play well no matter what team, weather, situation. If theyre losing 6-0, hell spark the team by getting 1-2-3 and out. he is simply the BEST
