Best ever: does multiple sports, Kevin Harlan
Worst ever Dick Vitale 90% of his comments in a game are about Duke and North Carolina, even more when one of those teams is actually playing in the game he is doing.

Worst would be a three way tie between Joe Theisman, Bill Walton, and Joe Morgan. Who ever came up with the idea to have more than one person in the booth, especially for a t.v. broadcast should be dug up and kicked in the nuts. It's one thing for a radio broadcast, but why do we need three people to tell us what we just watched.

Worst: Tie: Tim McCarver, MLB and Bill Walton, NBA...I am not sure who grates on me more. Not much of a Billy Packer fan either.
My favorite all-time is Joe Tate, who does the Cavs games locally (forever). Nationally, I have always been a huge Keith Jackson fan. I really like the Sunday Night Baseball duo of Jon Miller and Joe Morgan. And lastly, Bill Rafferty in college basketball..."a kiss off the glass."

I'm not a WhiteSox fan, but sometimes listen to their games on GameDay Audio. I think Ed Farmer is hilarious...in addition to being a great play-by-play man. The female who works on the Yankees broadcasts, is the worst. I'd say that even if I weren't a RedSox fan.

Out on the perifery -- the guys who do the "highlights".....there is no one who matches Van Earl Wright! After he left CNN, I heard he went to Detroit, and then to Fox Sports. Anyone know WHERE he is now?

I am a Pittsburgh girl and I must give Myron Cope his due. He not only brought the game to us on the radio but he brought us the "Terrible Towel". He was the first pro football analyst inducted into the national radio hall of fame and could bring the stadium to its feet simply walking onto the field. He was a true entertainer making music videos and writing books and articles. I know Pittsburgh will miss Myron:-)
Check out some of the videos on youtube. I promise you will laugh at some point because he truly loved the game of football and the city of Pittsburgh and his joy shows through.

Indeed, Curt Gowdy and Dick Enberg are two of the greatest. Both did MLB as well as NFL. Gowdy=RedSox, and Enberg (I think) did baseball in Houston.

Worst of All Time- Michael Reghi - he was the Orioles TV play by play man and was the fakest person I've ever watched. He tried to act like a homer but he was a outside stu who only cared about a paycheck.
NASCAR Worst - Alan Bestwick and Darrell Waltrip - Bestwick would be best suited calling the LPGA and if Waltrip Say Bogettey freaking shut the hell up and stop crying everytime you hear Earnhardt Sr.'s name.
Best of All-Time... Howard Cosell
