I agree. Brown is a great hitter, but my 13-year old sister could run with the recievers better than he does... Burress lit defenders up all last season - just ask New England's secondary...

You just contradicted yourself 1217,  you said that Brown was a better corner then Lito, yet your 13-year could run with receivers better than he can, in that case you are claiming that Lito must be mediocre then.   A 2 time pro-bowler on his resume says otherwise.   Regarding Burress, he didn't light up the NE corners in the SuperBowl, he just had the big catch at the end of the game, other than that he was shutdown, so that was a poor example to use.

Actually I'm very familiar with the NFC East. I live and go to school in Maryland, so naturally it's Redskins country over here...

I guess that explains your terrible prediction that the Eagles will be 4-12 this year.  Usually fans of the other teams in our division, more or less hope that the birds have a bad season as opposed to giving a more accurate and knowledgeable prediction.   The following statement is actually what I'm talking about-----V

Ok maybe 4-12 is a little harsh, but let's face it: they are not winning a Superbowl anytime soon. If you honestly think they are, then you need a serious reality check... And there's a pretty good chance that something could happen to McNabb this season, as his track record has shown...

His best year was in 2006 when he had 6 INT's... His entire career in Philly, he's put up good numbers, but they have been inconsistent due to injury. Consistency can be corolated to one's ability to stay healthy, too: so calm down... And because of this, he is a good corner - not a great one. Say whatever you want about Sheppard. You're an Eagles fan, so I'm not surprised you're saying what you're saying, but to everyone else, Sheppard is not one of the best corners in the league.

You were once a Redskins fan, so it doesn't surprise me that you are so negative against the Eagles and their corners.   Again, Lito is a 2 time pro-bowler which means he's better than good, I would not say that he's in the top three, but he's alot higher than where you think he is.  Plus you said that his injuries AND consistency as if they were 2 separate things, now you are trying to combine the two in what appears to be backpedaling from your previous statement.   We love Lito here in Philly, but his injuries have been a problem, so again if he's traded, it's because of his inability to stay health, not because of inconsistency in his play, which what you said in your previous statement.

Dude, Branch was the Superbowl XXXIX MVP! How can you say he "wasn't that good?" That shows me you have no clue about New England's recievers... He had 998 yds. in 2005 to go along with 5 TD's... Those are some good numbers - certainly nothing to laugh at or criticize...

Hahahaha, you still don't get it, do you?  Denver's system makes any RB look like a stud, but only Clinton Portis continued to play well after leaving the Broncos-when he's not injuried.   Branch was a product of a good WR system in New England, what has he done since he left?  Was he a MVP in Seattle?  Shoot, no one heard of Wes Welker until he signed with the Patroits, many football experts stated that Welker would have won the MVP if the Patriots would won the SB, was he playing for the Dolphins before he came to NE?  What did he do in Miami before he came to NE and had experts picking him for MVP?   I rest my case.
