Thanks.

Compared to Marvin Williams because of his versatility, athleticism and option to play multiple forward slots. Elite player nationally.
Scouts 5 star, #2 rated PF in the country out of Racine, Wisconsin. Rivals 4 star, in the top 35 in the country. He's got a lot of schools on list right now although he did mention us in a Scouts interview.

Thanks. But as I always say, I'm just passing on some of what I read on, or linked through, Rivals (mostly) and Scouts. It's amazing what those guys dig up (and I leave out a lot). Now that the commercial is over...
Another good link is the Paul Klee Champaign News-Gazatte blog.
Here in the next few days I'll try to post some links again where you can find more of this kind of stuff.
But instead of trying to find "other" stuff to talk about I'd rather we were all talking about the games and where we think we'd be in the tourney!

Bb, it amazes me that you love UNC so much and yet you don't post at duke's site? Aren't they the ones who beat UNC?

Bball,
Bsisko was saying he'd rather (or he wishes) we could be talking about tournament seeding like we usually do around this time. Of course, we aren't this year because we're not good enough to make it this time around.

A valiant and civil effort, hellrzr, but I don't think bball's quick enough to comprehend.
1) He's reading through orange-filter glasses (which, funny enough, are blue!) and
2) He was rejected from U of I, after all
I don't listen or respond to his dribble anymore. Talking basketball or.. life with him is like discussing supersymmetry with a toddler.

I don't have any links, nor do I care to search for them that I've read, but you can take this for what it's worth...
I read that he had it down to MSU, Marquette, and Wisconsin and within the last couple weeks, took MSU off his list. It sounds like he's going to stay in state but is deciding which program is better for him personally. As a Badger fan, it would be nice to see him come to Madison but I have a feeling he will choose Marquette because their offense is more wide open.

If you go onto his profile he never even posts on the UNC bored. I say he's a POSER and he's doing to get under our skin by picking the team that beat us in the National Title game.

Rivals has Wisconsin and Marquette. I doubt he gets out of the state. If he does it will probably be to MSU because he has an AAU teammate there that he would like to play with again.

Yeah, I heard that was his connection with regards to MSU but since then has limited it down to Wisconsin and Marquette. Can you imagine what Bo Ryan could do with five star talent?

Hey, Wisconsin fans:
Since you don't have an in-state rival in the Big Ten (like Illinois-Northwestern, Indiana-Purdue, Michigan-MSU) who would you say is your BIGGEST rivalry in conference?
I know you guys have Marquette and Wisconsin-Milwaukee, but I've been curious who you guys hate the most in the Big Ten.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to get at Badger fans...I don't think we're really in the mix. At least not according to Scouts and Rivals.
I wouldn't mind at all if that kind of talent makes it's way into the conference. Better you guys than Marquette.
Don't forget, Brian Butch was 5 star talent!

I would say Minnesota is our biggest conference rival from a geographic standpoint but much like you guys with Northwestern, it hasn't been there lately from a competitive standpoint. In football, I would say Iowa and Ohio State... in basketball, I would say Illinois and Michigan State.
Also, here is an article from Rivals about Jamil Wilson... pretty close to what I've been hearing...
