Being a University of Tennessee Basketball Fan seems pretty popular of late. True Fandom  is testing and has been a lonely club, the last twenty or so years. I have been in the Arena when the crowds numbered 2,000 or less, and as well recently when the Arena was packed with 20,000+. I am an enthralled  Vol Fan, and never seeking a reprieve when it got rough, and it did. I enjoy the new found sucsess and will always be a voice for my Vols. Times will be rough down the road, and to remain loyal during those times, will make these times of success, more wonderful!! And get a Orange pair of scissors ready!

Go Big Orange!!

When will the decisions be made, and the community chosen to represent the greatest time of the year.

I want to dance.

I hope you dance.

Peace on your journey,
~JTG

I'll put myself up for consideration to represent Kansas State in your Member Mayhem. I am a KU alum, true Jayhawk fan, but also strong for the BigXII conference and particularly those teams from our lower echelons with new (1-3 yr) coaches who are generating more parity.

Regarding K-State this year, I think everyone should be impressed by more than the presence of the likely first pick in next summer's NBA draft. Two years ago, AD Weiser picked Bob Huggins off the shelf with the expectation that his experience and recruiting prowess would resurrect the moribund program in Manhattan, only to see him off to his alma mater after a single season, though it was the most successful season in years for the program. In order to retain the benefits of an outstanding group of recruits, Weiser turned the team over to long-time Huggins assistant Frank Martin. In his first year as a head coach, after losing the best returning player to injury, Martin weathered a shaky start, early conference surge and mid-season losing streak to finish third in the nation's #2 RPI conference and qualify (?) for a (6-7-8) seed in the NCAAs with a freshman-dominated team. K-State surely is worth watching for a possible run in March.

If you insist on your hundred word limit, consider this:
