This deal definitely favors the cancuks.  Matt Cooke is a waste of skates.  He hits from behind, he doesn't skate hard, he looks for cheap shots and he cowers whenever anyone challenges him.

Thank you Dave Nonis.  This is the best deadline day present for this Canucks fan.  Pettinger is a bonus as I would have traded Cooke for a bag of pucks and a couple rolls of hockey tape.

Well, I guess you got your deal because Pettinger is about worth a bag of pucks and a couple rolls of hockey tape.
