It really sucks being a Bluejackets fan! We get younger for sure, but to get rid of all your leadership (Foote & Federov) for Theo Ruth and a couple of picks just sucks in my opinion. Not to mention that they traded Foote away to a team they are competing with for the playoffs! Way to go Scott Howson!

I'm a little bummed about seeing Footer go but if he wasn't going to be signed then it's better to get something for him than nothing. 

I won't judge the CBJ front office until I read more but it's disappointing to see the guy wearing the "C" get dealt!

Two trades and we got nothing to help us now! We need scorers.
I'm very disappointed. I can't believe that was all we could get for those two players. Looks like we are stuck with Brule, Vyborny and Peca.

As an original season ticket holder, I am tired of waiting and waiting. If these 2 trades can free up money to get a top line center and a puck moving defensiveman in the off season then I am ok with it. If it is a way to stockpile draft picks, then I am getting extremely fed up.

Howson has no guts - thanks for nothing, go back to Edmonton.  He should have made deals to prove to the fans that he wants the playoffs now rather than 2 - 3 years from now....The fans in Columbus deserve better.  Nash has got to be frustrated - he should demand a trade or play out the contract and go free agency...I for one would not blame him - guess the money I spent on tickets for tomorrow night and next week should have been used for the Destroyers...at least they can score and win!

Adam Foote is Colorado fans' favorite.  That sucks when Avs had to give up that high draft pick (1st round pick)  for older player.  Adam back to his old skating grounds and hope it'll worth it in a long run and hope that 1st round pick whoever that is will really help Columbussomeday.
