Fight! Texas! Beat the Wildcats!

Michael Beasley may very well be the best freshman that has ever played NCAA basketball. His stats are currently slightly better than 2007 wonderkid Kevin Durant and 2003 phenom Carmelo Anthony... and the Longhorns just beat him and the team that he plays for.

Well, you are not all stupid. That is a good assessment. M. Beasley is an awesome basketball player and is going to have a great career in the NBA. But, one person does not a team make. He can't beat 5 guys by himself. M. Beasley is playing with a team that is struggling.

Texas on the other hand is peaking and getting more and more consistent.

Will Texas win the Big 12 Tourn.? I don't know. Maybe. How far will they get into the NCAA tourn.? I dont know that either. But, if they play like they have been playing during their 8 game winning streak, they will be very had to beat.

That solidifies it the Horns are the best team in the big 12 hands down, and have the most impressive resume in the country, with UCLA, TENN, and KAN.  They shouldnt slip the rest of the season, no real threats on the horizon.  Tech in Lubbock would scare u, but they dont have the size to have a chance, if they try and match guard play, they can forget it.  27-4 looks probable and no matter what seed we end up with for March, noone is going to want to play this squad.

Go home UGK, u cant support Texas rap without supporting the TEXAS Longhorns.  Only the best programs get attention from people who dont like em, so thanks appreciate the compliment. 

Gotta love seeing the Horns go 8-0 in February to tie the 45 year old record. They looked like the "real deal" versus K-State on the road.

<o:p>  </o:p> Ouch I guess every one that predicted an easy win over Texas Tech is feeling kind of dumb right now.... okay I guess I thought Texas would win out too, until the Big 12 Tournament were Kansas would show them who the real best team in the Big 12 is but I guess Texas Tech took your Big 12 Championship away thank you Tech....

Oh by the way KU 109 - TT 51 for anyone that didn't get to see the game and that was the score after we put are second team (no starters) in at the 10min mark in the second half...
