OK, we saw Pau Gasol, Jason Kidd, Shaq, Shawn Marion, Kurt Thomas, Devin Harris, Bonzi Wells, Mike Bibby and the legendary Kwame Brown all move to new teams. How ya Lakers, Mavs, Suns, Heat, Spurs, Nets, Rockets, Hawks, Grizzlies, etc fans feel about that?

Share with us why you love or hate what your team (or rival) did.

Something like, "I love the Mike Bibby trade because it got rid of Shelden Williams' massive Ken Griffey-on-Simpsons head" or "I hate the Kurt Thomas trade because it's Kurt friggin' Thomas, the guy is 35 years old, people!"

Yours, I trust, will be better than mine.

Best submissions will be put into a mobile video that will be really, really good.

I look forward to reading your responses.

I love the Lakers trade for Pau Gasol. He gives us a 1-2 punch between him and Kobe. This also bides time will Bynum comes back with Gasol playing center. If we did not make this trade then Kwame Brown would be our starting center, and Gasol is a HUGE upgrade. A no question great trade for my Lakers.

I wanted the Hornets to really improve by adding a tough swingman who could come off of the bench and prove offense when necessary.  The only knock on them is how thin their bench is which isn't necessarily true .. it's just basically unable to score (minus Jannero Pargo).  But they filled that need in trading Bobby Jackson for Mike James and Bonzi Wells.  Now if Bonzi was just a regular guy I would love this trade but he's not.  I like the addition of Mike James but I HATE theaddition of Bonzi Wells.  He has done nothing but leave sour tastes in people's mouths everywhere he has left.  He's never left a team on good terms and I just wish that they could have found a more reliable TEAM player to fill that need.  The trade just doesn't do it for me but I have to remain optimistic.  I would love the trade if it works out .. but I don't have faith in Bonzi Wells being a team player.

Devin Harris didnt even play and wont for 10-14 days. well Marcus Williams got the start and produced 25 points well above his average and has anyone seen vinc carters assists and erbounds in the last 10-15 games well above his average and looks similar to kidds numbers but with the scoring =p. Josh Boone had several 15+ rebound games since starting also.

go Nets

Go Hornets21

Dude...

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Jackson's stats are better across the board than Mike James.  NO didn't do the trade for James.  They did it for Bonzi.  They took the salary of James to get Bonzi.  Now, all you said about him is true for sure.  However, he can score and he can create matchup problems and he has experience.  Those I think is what NO was looking for. Not to mention, Bonzi is in a 1-yr contract, so the gamble is worth the risk if he does exit in a non-promising way or doesn't work out.  We all know that Peja is non-existant in the playoffs.  Bonzi plays well generally, esp against the better teams.  It was a good trade for NO for those reasons.

I don't care for Jackson, every since he got body slammed by TMAC.  But, he is a valuable bench player and a decent backup.  And we get both Bonzi and James off our books.  Gotta love that.  Better yet, we have more playing time for Scola, Laundry, and Hayes.  Who are all preferred over Bonzi to me.  As well as an open spot for movement.

What we lose.  The ability to play multiple positions.  Bonzi can really play 2-5; basically however, 3 and 4.  This can help with injuries or a need for a spark.  You can pretty much put him anywhere.  Although, with Jackson, that helps us.  As we have another 1 or 2 and TMAC can play 2 or 3 and we have plenty of 4's.  So we should be okay.  Not to mention we get rid of a problem in Bonzi and his attitude, a problem with James in his money and non-playing time, and get Jackson with a short contract.  So if it doesn't work out, the risk is low.

Also, we can survive while waiting on the players against the Heat.  If we need to with NO, then both teams will be shorthanded.

So all in all, I'd say it was a good move and good timing.  Very little impact.  However, if for some reason, Rafer or Brooks went down, our season would still be alive.  This is key.  Esp with the stacked West.

As a Houston fan, I like the trade.  Now to rid of Synder and Francis.  LOL

I... don't understand it. It's making a move just for the sake of making a move. When your team is on a ten-game winning streak and 17 out of the last 20, sometimes it's best to not screw with things.

Wow was that a dumb trade by the Cavs.

I take it you think it's dumb only because they are getting Ben Wallace? What about Wally Szerbiak? Delonte West? Joe Smith? You don't think they will help LeBron better than Hughes and Gooden did?

Before you even say anything, I will clear something up for you: Ben will not be needed to play offense for the Cavaliers like the Bulls need him to. He will play a similar role as he did on the Pistons. That will suit him much better.

I don't like the Spurs trade for Kurt Thomas. I think they gave up way too much for an old player who isn't even that great. I like getting rid of Francisco Elson because he never did anything for the Spurs but I really did like Brent Barry. He could always hit an open three and had such a great quick release that he gave us an offensive spurt. I think losing him will hurt us in the long run because it will add more pressure on interior offense. I can't believe the Spurs gave up 2 players and a first round draft pick. It just doesn't make sense to give up a role player, a reserve, and a first round draft pick for another role player. I think they did it for two reasons: 1. They think it will help take pressure off Duncan but he has never been known as a offensive player. 2. Sam Presti is the former GM of the Spurs so it is a trade where each team gets what they need. The Spurs get interior defense and a veteran big man and the Sonics get a decent shooter, a first round pick and a mediocre big man. Well to me I would say the Sonics won on that this trade.

It's too much pressure on Lebron... Shouldn't a trade's aim to take the burden off your star, not increase it?

He's not under any more pressure on offense as he was before, and he definately has less pressure on defense now.

Wally, West, and Joe will make up for Hughes and Gooden on offense, so I don't see how LeBron would be under anymore pressure than he was before. Plus now, Daniel Gibson might get a shot at starting. He can shoot the 3 ball very well when they need it. That should take away some pressure.

Nice to see Ben Wallace's contract gone. Thought we were stuck with that one for the full length. He just never fit. Let's see if he shows up to play for the Cavs every night and doesn't dog it like he did in Chicago.

My favorite trade was the Kidd trade.  It demonstrated in painful detail how asenine the NBA rules are, and how they transfer over to NBA trades.

Does anyone else think that Van Horn getting 4.3 million in that deal is absolutely preposterous?  This slate article is written really well and demonstrates my point a lot better than I can.

I find it funny, in a painfully unintentional fashion.
