	It looks to me in his 2 fights tonight he was afraid to get punched!! Cant say i blame him, his nose was broken pretty bad, i just really hope its not going to affect him in the long run, maybe he should put the shield back on?

	Your probably right about the nose. But at least he was still willing to stick up for his teammates! More than I can say for Kessel who is useless unless we're in a shootout!

	Lucic needs to go hang out with George Parros in the offseason, let Parros teach him a thing or two and we'll be golden! Kessel could go too, but as soon as something started to go down Kessel would just wet his pants and start crying.

	How dare you guys? Busted beak, 19 years old, he'll be just fine in this dept. He's proven he can take a whack. I think he's maybe a little apprehensive because of the nose is all.

	lucic did look a little tenative in these fights....cant blame the kid at all & he did take on 2 pretty tough players....gleason is a sleeper when it comes to fist a cufs.....go to hockeyfights dot com & he hasnt lost many......i was hoping maybe someone would come to the front & put brookbank in his place, but didnt happen....what is up with this stand on your heels & hold on tenative D that the B,s fall into at the end of these games....this bothers me more then lucic,damn! shades of Dave Lewis out there at the end of these games.....good old dave "com,on boys lets go out & win this thing 0-0!"

	trooper - you're right, my bad, i've actually broken my nose twice and if you've been through it before it's definitely not something you want to do again. and neither of mine ever required 16 stitches to my face either, so he's got that going for him too. i said in a different thread that i thought his stand at the end of the game was exactly what the rest of the boys needed to see, someone willing to fight for his teammates!

	I have to admit Kessel did play pretty good last night. I just wish it were more than once every 3 weeks. Maybe he should stick with the beard. It makes him look tougher!

	you know, I think you're right. Lucic is afraid of getting punched. He should welcome punches to the face like everyone else in the world. :P I'm sure you relish the opportunity to be punched, right? "Gosh! I can't wait till someone dislocates my jaw!" I'm not saying Lucic isn't a tough dude, because he is, but preferring to avoid punches is common sense, not weakness. Unless, of course, you got punched in the head a bit too much and can no longer tell smart from not smart.
