I was just wanting to know from a reliable source, what this guy's all about.  As hardcore Gopher fans, what do ya'll think about him?  Are ya'll sad to see him go, or has Carolina just become the laughing stocks of Big Ten country?

He might be a good coach, it's tough to tell after only one season with the Gophers.  The D was beyond awful, but it wasn't his players in his system, so who knows.

Well he really wasnt here long enough to be able to tell if he was an good coach or not because he wasnt here long enough for his scheme to take full effect because like feek said they werent his players and its also difficult to adjust to a new system in one year.  I would have liked to see what he could have done with the players to fit his defensive scheme.

With only one season in Minnesota, it's hard to accurately guage his coaching abilities, but...  the one season he had sunk the Gophers into to one of the worst defenses in the country, and arguably the worst in school history.  Does anyone really miss the guy?
