Billy Packer love or hate him?

Ladies and Gentlemen  -  I've read all of the post here and will put something together tonight about the horrors of Billy Packer.  He played basketball for Wake Forrest when they went to the finall four on the talent of Len Chappel and Butch Hassell.  Billy was just another guard but developed  hatred of Carolina while still in college. I understand he has a son in the broadcasting business that does a much better job than Billy which proves the apple does fall very far away from the tree.

Now, give UNCle a couple of hours to compose the worst of "billy packer" and I'll feed you knowledge that will make you want to hire a hit man to cut out.his tongue.   He is exceptionally bad and takes pride is being such a horrible excuse of a color man but a few phone calls await and I'll add to this terrific post and threads.

UNCle has not forgotten any of the slights against Carolina over the years by billy packer and I'll lay them out soon...  first of all stop using captiol letters in spelling his name, he does not deserve it.

You can't be serious. When Billy Packer is the announcer for a game, many Duke fans will turn the sound off the TV and turn on Duke Radio to hear the play by play. He's not an asset to CBS, he has little to nothing to add to the commentary. His bias is so blatant that it's offensive.

Wake up, CBS.

LadyBD - Thank you for showing that you are sane Duke fan that AlSO can't stand Billy Packer as a color man (which is what he is suppose to do).  He tends to make as ass of himself for all to see.

I have no idea why CBS keeps him around as they  have much more to offer.  There are accounts of fans from all schools becoming physically sick listening to Packer.

The Free World would be a better place with Packer retired.. forever...

UNCle can't stand Mr. Packer.. and I'm glad LadyBD can't stand him either.
