2008 SCHEDULE

I didn't say we've done well with that chance, just that we've always got one.  Tommy's proven time and again that every team out there has a chance against your kittens.  We were awful last year, and still shoulda beat a Clemson team that was one play away from the ACC championship game.

And, I've said on many occasions that Tommy does his best coaching when he knows he's about to be fired, which has been the case for several of those games.

Last year it was GT, a couple of years ago it was Wake, before that it was UNC, before that it was Duke.  Every season there's an inexplicable loss. 

Well, twodawgs (did you clone Uga?), I was a bit confused by your post and began to wonder if you've been drinking some of that pharmaceutical water.  Then, I went back and found one whole poster who picked an upset of Carolina over Georgia.  Oh, wait.  So, I'm still confused.  One poster out of many picked an upset over Georgia, and you're crying about that?  Did you grow up under powerlines?  Did you eat paint chips?  Are you just plain illiterate? 

Was that float like a Cadilac, or sting like a Beamer?  I'm confused.

On a serious note, I did mention how your coach always seems to play extremely conservative at Williams Brice, thereby usually giving us a chance to win.  Talent wise you guys should mop the floor with us, but for whatever reason your coach has chosen not to in Columbia.  So, even though you have a better team than ours, that didn't stop you from losing last year.  Nor did it stop you from almost losing Spurrier's first year.  Nor did it stop you from almost losing during Holtz's two worst years.  You guys seem to always want to play down to our level, and we thank you for it.
