Hawaii entered bowl season 12-0 last year.  Come to think of it, they had two div I-AA teams on their schedule, and it appears your AD has followed suit.

You could play 14 games against the MAC, come out undefeated, and still not be any good.

my argument is that if you go undefeated through the reg season, conf championship, and most likely the bcs title game undefeated, then you are a great team.  period.

hawaii did not go undefeated, so thats not really a good example.  find me one team that went undefeated that was not a great team.

I'm not saying that the ACC is the best but you can't honestly say that the WAC or the MAC.  Even with the weaker schedule this year, if Clemson goes 12-0 and wins the ACCCG then they should be considered a very good team.

LSU was senior laden, picked apart by the draft, and kicked their projected starting qb off the team.  That game is in play at the moment, especially being at home.

U_Cocks, the only thing undecided about this game is how empty the Williams -Brice stands will get by the end of the third quarter. Ya'll think because you stayed with them for a half in Baton Rouge that you will do the same in Columbia ? Sure thing.. and Santa Claus is gonna bring you a national championship this year too...

And  the coach that OWNS the Gamecocks by an in-arguable margin (7-2)  in its rivalry is doing just fine I think... and just got a contract extension to 2014. That will put him somewhere in the neighborhood of 13-2  against whoever your coach is by then...

Its like this... the Cocks shouldn't expect much this season. I am aware that I am typing this pessimism to the worlds most optimistic fans, but realistically ya'll are looking at another break even season at best.

These 5 games are losses before the kickoff- UGA,UF,UT,LSU and of course Clemson.

Finding a way to beat Vandy and Kentucky should be the goal for Scurrier , as those two games might be pivotal in backing the team bus into another Liberty bowl game against another overmatched CUSA team.

find me one team that went undefeated that was not a great team.

BYU 1984

Utah 2004

Auburn 2004

Boise State 2006

Although BYU did earn the National Championship, people still argue to this day about whether or not they were a great team.  The other three come no where close to getting the recognition they earned.

Little Duggy,

Do you have anything intelligent to say, or do you wish to simply persist in portraying the stereotypical upstate idiot?
