Here's one:  Are people rushing to conclusion that Toyota is the manufacturer to beat this year?

Do you see Dodge's strong showing in Daytona as a random occurance or as a sign of how the season will continue?

After Daytona, has your opinion of who will be a sleeper to make the case changed?

Were you impressed with Hornish, or any of the other open wheel rookies?

I know I beat this to death on other threads, but why doesn't NASCAR start taking the laps under the yellow flag out of the lap total?

Was there a "conspiracy" on the track to make sure Jr. was the only Hendrick driver to finish in the top 25?  Jimmy got spun out and then Mears got spun out.

Tigers,
Mears spun himself out.  Hes lucky he didn't take out the entire field in doing it.

With the COT's being more equal than its predicesor, is the engine department at JGR really that strong that they can almost single handedly turn the Camry into a legitmate contender?  They were turning our the ponies during speed weeks...

What's the deal with JPM? It seems if there is someone being spun out he's there at least half the time with a hand in it. Is it just hard racing or does he not know what to do in tight quarters with other cars or what? And will Nascar ever do anything about it?

Brian-

What happened with Carl around the half way point. The last I saw of him he was going 4 wide and then he droped to 31st; where he stayed to like the final 20 laps. He did finish 19th, but he was running in the top 10 for the first half.

If wins are so important...and the dominant factor in determining the standings for the "Chase" drivers....Why doesn't NA$CARE factor wins into the "Chase" in some form? As an example, driver "A" who has a dozen wins in the first 26 races would most likely be the #1 seed in the "Chase". (assuming he didn't totally blow it in the other 14 races). Now that same driver wins 5 "Chase" races, but does blow in the other 5. Driver "B" who won three "pre-Chase" races, and finished 2nd in the other 23 races was seeded second, due to have fewer wins. Now he only wins one "Chase" race, and finishes 2nd in the other 9.....he wins the title. Why did wins become less important during the "Chase"? Obviously he deserved the title, but doesn't this show an inconsistent attitude? Wins can't be the be all/end all at one point, and not the other.

Jimmy got spun out and then Mears got spun out.

You are kidding right?
JJ was loose for 2 laps, and finally lost it, and instead of taking out all but him, as per the norm, he got KO'd.

AS FOR MEARS!!!!
He cut off Tony and Junior, who totally had position on him, and he even admitted it.

Don't you mean Montoya spinning out Bowyer?
