Now with our starting QB situation obviously being probably the biggest question on BC minds....how do you think this season is gonna go?
Personally, in terms of road games, we couldnt really ask for too much better...avoiding away games at VT, Clemson, GT and depending what kind of team shows up next year, Notre Dame. Sure Florida state and Wake Forest might be challenges but definitely not as bad as VT and Clemson. Anyway, here's hoping some of the new draft class steps up and contributes right from the start...
looking at the schedule i can see the eagles going either 7-5 or 8-4. losses coming to VT, Clemson, WF, FSU and maybe ND. its going to be tough for us, depending on who is the QB but i see BC finishing 3rd in the Atlantic at 4-4 behind either Clemson, FSU or WF.
Is Crane really that bad? and what about this dude Codi Boek (is that his name?) who is a transfer? I am hoping that the remaining defensive starters can make a name for themselves....Silva, Tribble, Dunbar are obviously huge losses but I gotta have some faith that there will be some new names we'll be calling this year. Maybe not enough to save our butts, but something to get behind and keep things tight
Jagz wants a spread the offense out more, really cant do it with a pocket type QB....thats why they went after that kid from GA, hes more athlete than QB but i guess he has a cannon and can run, just needs to fine tune things.....most likely go red shirt...
i definitely see the potential to win the first half of the schedule. that could be nice to bring in a new qb. bc is going to have a chance to win every game because of the ability to stop the run. do i think you will win the atlantic? not really, but bc can win some games against some good teams and stir things up. i like clemson to get over the hump this year returning 40 of 44 players on the 2deep depth chart (plus P and K)
what is the best way to get tickets to the Notre Dame game since I am not a student or season ticket holder? A buddy of mine and I live up her in New Hampshire and a actually Kansas State fans...don't hate us for that since we grew up in Kansas, but would like to catch a quality college game. Since BC is the best thing in New England for that, we are jumpin on the bandwagon. We really would like to go to a game...any ideas?
