i'm just glad that something good happened to them with their almighty 10 good freshman, so they can maybe start to move out of the past.

Okay 9... As far as two or three more recruiting classes to reach Auburn's talent level; you're dreaming!
Shula and company (glad they're gone), did manage to recruit some great talent, though few, it's still a foundation we can live with.
We have most of the starters coming back on both sides of the ball and we also had a top 10 recruiting class last year after Saban had arrived. We had a stellar recruiting class this year and the voids that we had will be adequetly filled with 2 to 3 deep at every position.
The NCAA only allows 25 Scollys per year and 85 total. Alabama is OVER the 85 and most of them are relatively new blood.

I went to the University of North Florida FYI. I would have liked to attend Bama but circumstanced didn't allow that (long story). However, with the fruits of the education I recieved, my son and daughter will both attend Alabama. What is your point?

I see how it's easy to look past these 6 straight beatings for you with that Bammer victory over Miami 16 years ago fresh in your mind. You may have 9 staight in the 70s and early 80s over 25 years ago, but I'll take my 6 and counting that is currently going on. 17-10!!!!!!

Not meaning to get in a "domestic squabble" but it does seem strange to go on a Auburn board and brag about 9 9(10?) or whatever championships and a #1 recruiting class when you haven't beaten Auburn in 6 years. A number one class is great but it takes 3 years before the class is a real impact. Auburn has been consistant in their recruiting over the last 10 years (better than Alabama overall) and they have won the majority of the games. Alabama may win next year but it will have little to do with this years class. Now if you want to say you're going to kick Auburns butt in 2011 go for it.

twodawgs, you're right on the money. Glad to see that fans of other schools realize how ridiculous some bama fans are acting. Put it this way....they just haven't had much to talk about in quite a while & they're just getting excited. But, this thread is the truth. All Auburn fans have to do is say "6" & the conversation's done for.

It is a little odd to taunt a team that has beaten you 6 in a row. If I was an Alabama fan I'd say "yes sir" and "no sir" to everything and try not to piss ya'll off. I don't notice the Alabama players picking at Auburn, they have to play the game. We've beaten Ga. Tech a bunch in a row (after it gets past 5 who really cares) but at least they don't tell us what they're going to do next year. Good luck for both Alabama and Auburn, I'm an SEC fan and want the best for the conference. Maybe we can all go to bowls next year and beat up Big Ten teams!

I may be wrong, but I thought Saban was brought in to clean up a program coming off probation a few years back, as well as a discipline problem (Shula`s solution for punishment= Ice Cream)!
Since Lil` Nicky came to Turdtown, it seems the players behavior has gotten even worse, as well as the lack of punishment these guys receive. Some things don`t seem to ever change.

It just matters whose winning right now or at least the past 2 or 3 seasons. Ok sweet, ya'll have the 70's, congradulations. Maybe that's why Alabama can't win; they can't move on from their hay day with the Bear.

Sounds like this is bugging the Bama fans more than we know. I guess 7, 8, and 9 are going to sting even worse with their #1 recruiting class.
