	USF got a commit from BJ daniels a 4 star QB and i think he was in the top 5 out of mobile QB's in this years recruitment class. Great news for the future.

	Ranked 8th in mobile quaterbacks and 5th in strongest arm and 44th in all florida athletes....

	hes definately plenty talented..but i think it will be a few years before we see him get any significant playing time...barring injuries of course...good job of recruiting by coach leavitt.

	Yes, it is a great signing for the Bulls and shows that USF is looked at in a completely different light now. Grothe is the man at QB, obviously barring any injury. It is nice to know we have a solid back up that we could fall back on. It sure has been a while since we had that...if ever. I always believe that until we see the goods on BJ Daniels...it is all speculation....you never really know how a kid will adapt from H.S. to BCS football. However with a 4-star rating....I am very excited at this recruit. GO BULLS!!!

	I agree - it's great to get highly ranked recruits, but it's wise to not get too excited about them until they actually play, and maybe even more importantly, spend time within the college environment. After all, it doesn't matter how many stars are after a person's name if that person can't get on the field because of grades, problems with the law, etc. I'm not saying that Daniels is any way like him, but remember our other 4 star quarterback, Carlton Hill?

	We never would've gotten this guy if not for our hot start last year. At least that's what I think. So here's to another great start next year, and hopefully a great finish too!

	I think we might be seeing this young guy a few plays, speed is what every team needs and im sure if they run grothe like they did last year he will likely end up with an injury even though he is a tough cookie

	nope he wont see the field this year.....grant gregory will be the back up and if they needed an emergency qb past that they still have alton voss....who may be moved to nother position....he will almsot certainly get redshirted this season....then he will have three years of eligibility left after matt grothe graduates....
