I disagree. Mine would be

1. USC

2. UCLA

3. Oregon

4. Cal

5. Washington

6. Arizona State

7. Oregon State

8. Arizona

9. Stanford

10. Washington State

Although Washington could be even higher depending on the impact of their recruiting class.

Go Dawgs!!!

1. USC - Still so tough

2. UCLA - Rick's intensity sells and kids buy. Best staff in the Pac Ten.

3. Cal - Tedford will be back after major fall last season

4. Oregon - New QB, New Offense

5. Washington - Locker and returning O-line

6. Arizona St. - Dirty Play will win some games

7. Oregon St. - Not over talented

8. Arizona - Most unorganized coach in the Pac.

9. Stanford - Still bad but play hard

10. Washington St. - Bad 1AA staff, lots of hype and no talent left

1. USC - Sorry...it's just always a safe bet.  They'll lose two or three and so will everyone else and the Trojans will slide into #1.

2. ASU - If they had a better rep for winning big games, I'd have them in the Rose bowl.  I'm sure one of their star players will shoot someone and get suspended for a key game.

3. UCLA - Tons of talent and good coaches.  That should lead to a hugely disappointing 3rd-place finish.

4. OSU - This is one of their strongest offensive teams in a while, but it looks like a strong Pac-10 this year.  They'll score on Punt Returns, fly sweeps, the running game and dump-offs to TE's and RB's.  No need for a solid QB.

5. Cal - They always have a really good O-line.  Too bad the O-line can't pass, catch and run the ball.  I'm sure if you put an O-lineman under center he would know how to spike the ball at the end of the game.

6. Oregon - One of their 12 QB's should be good enough to get them into the top-10 in the country before falling flat and losing their last 5 games.

7. UW - If Locker can complete 50% of his passes, he'll win them 5 games at least.  I'm hoping he doesn't though, because I love ripping on Husky fans.

8. Arizona - They really stink, but they've got a lot of talented players who will show up for a game or two.  Like maybe ASU.

9. WSU - I always root for these poor b**tards.  Hopefully that 7'8" Sr. QB they have can work some magic.  I think he lead a couple good drives while they were getting whooped by Georgia or OU or somebody last year.

10.  Stanford - At least they are smart and will make money doing something other than sports after college.

1. USC - Still a few years away from the NCAA finding out they have been doing something shady. Not a knock on SC though but something is up when 2 of the best RB's want to come to SC to ride the pine. So much talent on the team though it would be a minor hit if they did come up with something.

2. UCLA - Slick Rick uses one of the best coaching staffs and an easy school to recruit for with SoCal sunshine and easy access to a great night scene to bring this school to the top quick. Think Rick's Huskies had problems with the law just wait a few years for some crazy stuff to surface out of UCLA.

3. Cal - Another stinking CA school loaded with talent. QB depth a big weapon.

4. Arizona State - Erickson knows how coach winners... in college. Team plays fast and smart.

5. Washington - This team can go higher depending on the development of Jake Locker and the WR group. If Jake does a little bit better putting his throws on target and the WRs do alot better at catching it will be have a huge impact on putting this team back into a bowl game and keeping a coaching staffs jobs. Improvement on DEF is also a must so that an improved offense dosent get left out to dry.

6. Oregon - This spot is up for grabs. The loss of Dixion obviously hurts this team since the back-ups looked poor at best for majority of the games. Stewarts replacement also well have a tough time as teams load up with little respect for the QB.

7. Arizona - Solid team that should be showing more signs of improvement.

8. Oregon State - Also could be up there for the 6th spot.

9. Washington State - Who thought more people would be excited about Cougar Basketball?

10. Stanford - At least they get good jobs out of college... and seem to stump the Huskies. But well get better with time and the USC upset is going to be a big confidence boost.

I 'm going to put my two cents in here.....

1. USC Pete Carroll / Talent

2.California..at the edge of being really good

3. A .S . Erickson, speed

4.UCLA Coaching staff begins building this year...talent

5.Oregon ? Major replacements,adjustments

6.UW ? Or better ... depending on how quickly this versitle staff Jells and ofcourse, if JL improves 10-15%...UW will be better able to manufacture points especially since JL will be a double threat who will not have to do nearly as much as he did last year...This will be an exciting, high energy team (straight N your face O )

A Defense 1/3 better is a winner of 3-4 games. A winning  attitude , a starvation for Revenge , Motivation and Renewed confidence is what I,m expecting this coaching staff to offer these FB players. I truely believe that is what is going to happen.

7.Arizona , Improved

8.Stanford..Coaching

9.Oregon State could flipflop with Stanford

10.W.S sorry
