MRsooner...long time no hear. How's your Psycho 101 classes coming along? You must be the star pupil. The other team boards must be elated to get a break from you. Sorry to say, butt's filled with hickies from hubby...no room for anybody else's butt kissing...lol. Here's the Hawai`i schedule. Behave yourself now.

Schedule still not up to your standards (whatever they may be)? Well then...TOUGH! But you gotta admit, it's a heck of a lot better than last season's! Good luck and have fun with your self-taught classes. You'll be a shining star...

RR,
Oklahoma is playing a pretty stout OOC schedule as well. UT Chattanooga, Cincinnati (hmm sound familar), at Washington and TCU. Hawaii is @ Oregon State (better than UW), @ Florida (better than TCU), has Washington State--still better than UW, Cincinnati at home (push) and Weber State---push with UT Chattanooga.
The funny thing here is I'll bet Oklahoma is taking it easy to keep their bodies fresh for a BCS bowl. The last time Oklahoma won a BCS bowl game, there was a Clinton in the White House.

Hey Biz...I like your comparisons. But no matter what, some people will never be satisfied with Hawai`i's schedule unless our OOC games are with SEC teams or some other "powerhouses". Speaking of one of your pushes...our latest coaching staff hire was from Weber State...should be an interesting game. Well, if OU is keeping their bodies fresh for a BCS bowl, and still doesn't come out victorious...maybe a new and different coaching staff is in order? You think Von Appen would be interested? LOL

Why do you guys keep comparing OU or another BCS team's OOC schedule with hawaii's OOC as if the BCS team's OOC schedule makes their overall SOS weaker than Hawaii's?
If you want to talk about SOS, you have to compare the ENTIRE schedule. I think we can all agree, that Big 10 competition is light years beyond the WAC. So even if OU plays a weaker OOC schedule, their overall SOS would be tougher becuase the big 10 is a tougher conference, top to bottom, than the WAC ever will be.

RedRaider67, you are so funny I almost wet my pants, I mean my depends.
Having mrs.ooner in a self taught class and getting Von Appen to coach at OU, ha!
Bismarck is on target to say that OU is ducking the competition and Hawai'i is stepping it up with a more difficult OOC. Who is playing the creampuffs now? It is not okay OK. A coaching change may be in the cards baby! Book 'em.

Look, Oklahoma is a power. They play in the Big 12 and are good at beating up on the North Texas, Northwestern Louisiana States of the world. But I can almost always add one number to the Oklahoma record. That would be a "1". If they are in a BCS game that would be a "1" in the loss column. Sure, if the Spooners played a WAC schedule they might run the table---but even so they have proved adept at losing bowl games year after year...something the Warriors haven't done.
BTW--no one would have beat Georgia this past year. Not lSU, Not USC, certainly not Ohio State.
