It is hard to believe that we discuss this issue when talking about Womens Basketball. I am a guy that enjoys the womens game but my interest is in the great athletes who play this game and not what their wearing underneath. This is a valid discussion but it most likely does not belong here. We are about to see a very good NCAA tournament with many talented players. Lets help get this game the respect it deserves and discuss real issues.
Also would you see this discussion on the Mens BB page. I don't think so
I could not have expressed it any better than "wsbbfan" did. Feel the exact same way. Not a subject to be discussed in this setting. We are sports fans and take it a little more serious than that. Hope you get to watch these amazing women athletes and see past they're gender and appreciate the extreme focus and hard work they all have to be where they are at. I don't see their figures when watching the games. I enjoy the talent that it takes to play at this level. Maybe you should be asking these questions to Women gone Wild type of fans.

If women want to be respected by men for the athletes they are, then why are only the "hottest" most attractive women the only one's to be marketed? Why is it that the only player in women's college basketball I can name is K(C?)andas Parker. Yea,

as I was saying....yea Parkers good but she also happens to be one of the most attractive girls in basketball.
Why is that in order to markey the WNBA they only show the most attractive girls on commercials? It still doesn't make a difference since tickets don't sell anyway but it's their only hope to appeal to men.
How about Anna K. in tennis? She is horrible but is still the most widely recognizable women's tennis player, aside from the Williams sisters(who are also fairly attractive).
Hey I don't even watch women's sports but the only reason I would would be to see someone like Anna .
