Now I am all for putting undefeated teams at the top of the polls; undefeated is undefeated. But how is UNC at 17-2 ahead of MD who is 22-1; 22 wins and 1 loss is !22 WINS! and 1 loss that is a feat in itself. 10 in a row to start the season and now 12 in a row after their only loss to Rutgers (who is a final four caliber team). They should be No. 2 in my book.

This game should be a very good game indeed. However I think that the odds are too strongly in favor of UNC. We are playing on the road against a top 5 team. We most likely will be without Brenda. UNC is coming off a tough loss against UCONN. I think UNC wins this one 77-74.

The reason that UNC is ranked higher than Maryland is because their two losses are at Tennessee and against UCONN. Plus I like Maryland being sorta under the radar. When we won the title we were third in the ACC and we were a two seed. This team plays better without all the attention.

I don't really think that should have been a loss. Right at the end of regulation the Terps get a foul called against them for blocking. !B.S.! She had her feet planted, hands straight up and the tar heel player ducked her shoulder into the terp player. Basket made foul called 1 foul shot. That's the shot that tied it up. Game should've ended MD 71 UNC 70. Foul shot never should've been taken because there was no foul.

And in OT there was a charging foul called on MD when it was clear the UNC player was still moving.

I think this one got stolen from MD especially since it was in Chapel Hill.
