Are all Hokies this obnoxious? I truly do not understand why you care so much about UVa athletics. Ideally, everyone is free to support your team. Why is there so much animosity toward a recruiting class that has never even stepped foot on the Grounds of the University? In all likelihood you will never meet a single member of the University's football team. They don't care about you. In short, you are completely insignificant. I understand that there is nothing to do in Blacksburg but hump cattle and lament your rejection letters from the University of Virginia ("But my mommy said that I'm special and that I can change the world!"). Perhaps you're upset because this recruiting class will be attending the University in the fall? Just a guess but insecurity always seems to be with Hokies for the entirety of their lives.
Example: "I attend the fifth best school in the state (after the University, the College, the University of Richmond, and Washington and Lee University) but Virginia Tech is an elite school!" This is quite simply a lie and the sooner that you come to terms with this cold truth the better for all of us. No more arrogance worthless Hokies. Your school is beyond a backup plan.
Example #2: "Our sports programs are so legit. We look so cool shaking our keys! Aren't we choreographed?! Yay!"
Sorry Hokies, even your sports teams tend to disappoint. A small word of advice: Don't talk trash about football when your teams chokes in CHOKIE fashion to a basketball program. Hokie football in mediocre on the national stage and all the rest of your athletic programs are forgettable!!

Haha, I love UVA fans, because they are so predictable:
UVA Fan - "VT sucks in football, we are definetely going to beat you this year" And ran their mouth all season...and lost
UVA Fan - "VT sucks in basketball, we are going to wipe the floor with you" And ran their mouth about that and loss.

Haha, always the same tired (wrong) argument over and over. They should include that as a quote in a book called "Things Losers Say". Its the same on every message board (here, ESPN, Rivals, TheSabre) etc. It just shows your true character when you can't actually talk about sports, but you have to resort to the "academics" argument (Which is completely off as it is)
UVa has moved out of 10th in recruiting in the ACC. They are now 11th haha only out recruiting the powerhouse of football Duke. At this rate UVa sure will own the state of Va again very soon. HAHAHA.
Why are Hokie fans so obsessed with tearing down UVA? Yes, we know our sports programs are not that good right now. But true UVA fans will still stand by their team. I've been with them through thick and thin. The truth is... Tech does not have much to brag about either. They simply choke in bowl games. Yes they beat UVA but is that something to brag about? Its like getting your butt kicked by the school bully and then turning around and beating up your little brother....then bragging about it.
You guys bring it on yourselves talkin about how good UVa is and then gettin killed. Then the wait till basketball season. Well basketball season's here i'm still waiting for us to lose. Then it's well we have better standards for our student athletes. Student athletes flunk out, yea its because our school is so tough for the players. It gets really funny after awhile. We have nothing to brag about? We got a good basketball team that is all freshmen. We have more ACC championships in football than UVa in just 4 years to UVas 40 some. We were ACC champs in softball reg season and tourney last season. We made the final four in soccer. Yea not much to brag about there.
First of all, just because UVA is my favorite team does not mean I hate VT. I cheer for UVA first and then any other Virginia school second.
Both colleges have had decent teams in the past... however on the national level neither team has been very successful when it mattered. (bowl games, NCAA tournament) Yes, VT has been more successful in football since Vick. And I admit I don't know much about the colleges other sports (soccer, baseball, tennis etc).
Don't get me wrong I respect VT as a school... they have come very far in the past 15 to 20 years. I just get tired of VT fans that bash UVA obsessively. They are rivals and I understand that jeering and a certain amount of bashing is part of the game (I do it).... but the obsessive bashing just gets annoying.

Your definately right about that... hopefully bruce and some other picks will help the situation. If not then we will be back a square one next season... with probably a new coach and quaterback. I hope not though.
