Sure, it is early, but I was reading a couple of mock drafts and started thinking about CAL players in the upcoming draft...
DeSean Jackson, if he comes out, is a first rounder, but where in the first round. I've seen him going in the top ten, or dropping down into the mid twenties. My thought is that he'll go a bit later, rather than sooner.
There are two other good receivers coming out of CAL, in Robert Jordan and Lavelle Hawkins. Of the two, I expect more interest in Hawkins, who was CAL's most productive receiver, and I believe he's a third rounder. Jordan may get picked up on the second day of the draft or he may not. I do not think that Craig Stevens makes the NFL.
Another interesting question is what happens with Justin Forsett. His 1500yd season should bring some attention, and I think that he'll get picked up in the later rounds of the draft, With McFadden, Rice, and Stewart headlining the RB class, he could fall a ways, but he could be a producer for a number of teams.
With Mike Gibson and Brian De La Puente being part of a highly regard offensive line, they should get looks in the draft as well. Neither is a headliner, but they are 300 pounders who got honorable mention as all PAC 10.
Thomas DeCoud is rated as the sixth best S by Mel Kiper. I think he will go in the second round. His performance in the senior bowl could influence his draft status.
Andrew Larson stands a good chance to be drafted as a punter in the later rounds of the draft, or possibly picked up as a free agent after the draft.
That's my view at this point. Have I missed anyone? Got a different opinion?

B&B - Those are good predictions, but I differ a little. First off, let me preface this post by saying that CAL players DON'T get the respect that they deserve. Year in and year out they produce offensive linemen that end up playing YEARS in the pros, but when is the last time one of them were drafted in the first round? It's a sad but true fact that CAL is not highly regarded when it comes to the draft, and for the life of me I can't figure it out. When Rodgers drops to the 24th pick and is the 2nd QB taken or Lynch goes down to the 14th pick, it's surprising to me. Before I go on, let me say that I'm a big Bear lover, but I'm putting on my NFL GM cap for the rest.
DeSean Jackson/Lavelle Hawkins/Jordan -
*Jackson, IMHO, is a bust waiting to happen. He's small, cocky, has possible character issues, and he's been inconsistant this year. Unless he's a combine stud I don't see him going in the first round. There are plenty of WR's in this years draft and some of the top guys are from Michigan, the SEC, or another high prestige school. There's a good chance of Jackson falling down to the top of the third round if he doesn't blow away the competition at the combine.
*Hawkins, reminds me quite a bit of Jones from San Jose State last year who is now playing for the Packers. I love this guy. He's not going higher than the third round, but he's going to be a late steal for someone. I can see him going around the 5th round to some team eager to increase their depth...maybe someone like the Titans.
*Jordan is good and a four year starter. He's also athletic enough to gain traction in the draft. My only problem is the same problem as have with Jackson to the extent of consistancy and character which is why I'd be surprised if he was drafted higher than the 5th.
Forsett - Another player that I absolutely love, but his size and lack of playing time will hurt him. He's a 7th rounder or undrafted free agent. Had not so many underclassmen joined the draft along with the strength of the RB's in the draft, he'd easily be a 5th rounder.
Decoud - If he's ranked as the sixth best safety on Kiper's list then he's a mid round selection. If he doesn't do well at the combine, ala Damien Hughes, he's a 6th or 7th rounder. Honestly, I like him as a free safety, but not a strong safety and his gifts may be more suited for the strong side.
Larson - As with any punter, there is a good possibility that he'll be in a camp as an undrafted free agent. Out of the 32 NFL teams, it's a pretty even mix in terms of punting talent judging by three categories: Really Good, Good, and Not So Good. So that means there will be at least 10 teams looking to improve the P position and Larsen is definitely a top 4 punter coming out of college this year. My prediction is that he's drafted in the 7th round.
Well there you have my opinions. Sorry that they aren't as positive as I'd like them to be, but when you have a team like CAL that produces 2000 rushing yards, and plenty of time for the QB over the past 5 years with only 2 RB's and 2 QB's drafted in the first round and still can't get a lineman drafted higher than the third round, it's an indication that your school doesn't have the prestige that it should have come draft day. If Miami or USC had that kind of track record, they'd call them OL-U.

Here's the thing about Jackson: while his receiving skills are inconsistent and mediocre, he does have the speed and vision to be an elite returner at the next level. With the success of Dante Hall and Devin Hester, many teams are making room for return specialists. They are also willing to draft high for them, such as the Dolphins taking Ted Ginn at #10 last year when Bowe, Steve Smith, Meachem, Jarrett, Rice, and Gonzalez were still available. I think he'll get taken in the 15-20 range.

I say Dallas picks him at 22, Joey G. is getting older and Jacksons elusiveness on turf will get him picked here. JJ the owner knows a Devin Hester mini me would be good for the special teams.

Both Forsett and Hawkins have made big impressions at the Senior Bowl. Forsett is listed as starting TB and Hawkins will start and get good minutes too.
For some scouts, the practices are more important than the game, and many scouts leave town before the actual game. Both guys have raised their draft prospects, with Forsett maybe going in the second round and Hawkins end of the first or second.

A few notes from the Senior Bowl:
Lavelle Hawkins touched the ball 5 times
Got the opening KO and ran it out to the 40.
Caught a 35yd TD on an underthrown ball, good adjustment
Caught a 12yd pass for a 1st down, hit immediately
End around, not very smooth, well defensed, and he gained a yard after eluding a tackler in the backfield.
17yd catch for a 1st down, picking it off the turf on another underthrown ball.
He made good plays every time he touched the ball and helped himself with scouts watching.
Justin Forsett: 10 runs for 34 yards. He never got much in the way of holes to run through, and drove through tacklers twice to make tough first downs. He helped himself some.
Thomas DeCoud.
A couple of tackles, one was an open field tackle on a RB that busted into the secondary. At the end of every play (it seemed) DeCoud was there in the picture, but he made very few plays. No big plays against him in coverage. Evaluation: Did help himself - didn't hurt himself.
A couple guys who looked good in the game were Sedrick Ellis, DE, USC who looked like a monster, and Matt Forte, RB, Tulane who was both powerful and fast.
