Looks like the Big Least Really is Overrated.

Is there really a reason you came over to our board and run your mouth?  You say we're in the "Big Least."  Is this because our conference had 2 teams that were in contention for the national champoinship during the game?  Or is it because the Big East has 3 teams ranked within the top 25? 

We lost to a damn good Oregon team that should have been playing in the national title game had Dixon not been injured.  Keep in mind that your precious Longhorns barely got a 3 point win against a depleted UCF team that our Bulls destroyed by 52 points.  While we have had our fair share of bad losses this season, also keep in mind that Texas lost to an unranked Kansas St. and Texas A&M.  Your most impressive win was over Oklahoma St.  We have signature wins over Auburn (at Auburn) and over West Virginia.  One more thing - both of our teams finished the regular season with the exact same record, and our team is only 11 years old and is still trying to build something that most other bowl teams already have. 

So the next time you feel like coming over to somebody else's team page and start running your mouth, please show some maturity, and have an actual point to make rather than just some big-headed statement.

.. but this was an Oregon team that lost 3 straight without Dixon. Belotti did have time to prepare but so did Levitt. I would put the same creadence in the current Big east bowl record as should be given to last years. Both Oregon and Wake Forrest were good match ups the BE team just lost them. Let us see how WVU fairs vs Oklahoma.

can anyone tell me how you are suppose to game plan for a quaterback that there is probly less then 30 minutes of game tape of?  o waite you can't.

secstinks/buccs469/unch8tr what happened to all that garbage you were talking about how dominant USF and the Big Least was and how terrible the SEC is?  How did that game against a Oregon team without a quarterback go?  SEC will finish 7-2 with 2 BCS bowl wins, hows the Big Least doing?

TidePride12, you are correct that USF stunk it up against a good 9 win Oregon team.  Oh, btw, since you obviously just looked at the score and didn't watch the game, Oregon had a QB.  Roper was a pretty good quarterback after taking a month's practice with the first team.  We are so proud of your team for hangining in there to get the win against the 6-7 Buffalos.

In answer to your question about how the Big East is doing, I'll say making the Big 12 (yes, the conference who's team you beat in your bowl game) Champions look like a bunch of JV kids.  In case you didn't watch that game either, I'll fill you in.  WVU destroyed Oklahoma even though OU was getting by with holding all night.  I saw one play in which the OU offensive lineman grabbed the back of Dingle's sholder pads, ripped his facemask and held the back of his jersey (yes, all in the same play) five feet in front of an official without a call.

BTW, before you start quoting statistics about how great the SEC is, everyone already knows that.  The SEC is the best conference in football, but the Big East is right in there with the Big 10, Pac 10, Big 12 and ACC.  You hear a lot of people trying to say the Big East doesn't deserve a BCS birth, kinda funny considering they've won their last three BCS games.

Again the tidey whitey comes in here with his SEC homer attitude.  Nobody here that I can remember has said that the SEC wasn't the best conference.  But USF is still better than Alabama.  You can't deny it with a straight face.  Yes, the SEC has had some good wins in the bowls.  UGA demolishing the rainbows is a good win but come on, honestly, everyone in the mainland knew that was coming.Miss. St. beating UCF... not impressive. Albama beating the buffs... maybe 10 people watched that game and it was not an impressive win. Kentucky beating a wounded duck FSU.  I will give you this as impressive because I did watch this one and Kentucky sweated that one out.  Which they shouldn't have being FSU was missing freakin' 34 or so players.  Kudos FSU for playing hard. Auburn beating clemson... A solid win.  Clemson is a good team.  Tennessee beating wisconisn... no really impressive being I don;t think Wisconsin is very good, but a win is a win.  Arkansas getting shilacked by mizzou...  impressive loss.  And my favorite moment... UF falling to michigan... LOL. Always love to see the gaytors lose.  So yes, the SEC may go 7-2 and that relieves me.  At least I know you can add.

By the way... the big least champ just put a whoopin on the big-12 champ.  Keep entertaining us Tidey and stay strong as the laughing stock of this board. 

And for Garmuck, I really could give a damn about my cbs rep rating.  But if you really must know, 1 guy with three names, secstinks/unch8tr/buccs469 solely dropped it about 60 points by himself stalking me for months.  Hes the reason Im over here rubbing in the Oregon loss.
