Very good points Rick .  As far as Aces are concerned I am with Doyle who says you will win a small pot or lose a big one with pocket aces.

Here's mine, but I came out on top.  There's just a twist that makes this win very distasteful.

Playing $1/2 NL on a table w/9 people at Caesars in Indiana.  Progressive Bad Beat Jackpot was up too $99K in the poker room.  I had about $190 in chips in front of me.  I was dealt pocket 10's, sitting in the BB.  Guy raises $20 early in position.  The SB and me just smooth call.  Flop came 2 of spades-10 of clubs-4 of spades.  SB and me check to the preflop raiser.  They bet the pot and once again SB and me just smooth call.  Turn came a 4 of diamonds.  Once again the SB and myself check to the raiser. This time he just checks.  Then the river came a 10 of spades.  The SB value bets 50 hoping me or the other guy had a flush or just one ten.  Well I push all in and the next guy folds immediately.  The SB quick called and flipped over quad 4's and said beat that, with a smile on his face.  I flipped over my quad 10's and screamed show us the money.  We were quickly informed that $1/2 NL tables werent eligible for the Progressive Bad Beat Jackpot.  They guy with Quad 4's turned so pail.  I just picked my chips up and cashed out.  The guy with quad 4's should have won around 48K and I should have won 18K.  The rest of the table would have split the remaining 30% of the jackpot.

The pot was over $400 for the hand, but for us to not be eligible for the Jackpot.  Well that just made me sick.  Hands like that dont happen everyday.  Well, atleast in live play they dont.  Online, hands like that are a dime a dozen.

That is pure BS.  I would appeal to the Corporate HQ.  It seems like they would be willing to do something for you.  Especially since I would never play there again if that happened to me.  And I would make sure everyone on every website forum from Full Tilt to Pokerstars heard about it.

I was at a live tourny blinds at 20/40 I had pocket Qs i raised from first position to 200( i know a big rasie but i didnt want someone with AJ or something like that calling me)  times the big blind .Everyone folds to the big blind who raises up to 500 i call

Flop is Q,Q,A. I check, He bets 1200 I just flopped I raise him 2000 he goes all in for 18000 i call he shows Pocket AA.

Turn was a 3 meaning he has the river and one out to beat me. He gets up puts his coat on and starts to leave.

Rivers an Ace i was so sick. tourny director chases him down and he comes running back to see that it was true. I had like 24000 so i wasnt knocked out but that hurt to see the case ace on the river.

Playing in a small cash game with my buddies $30 buy in.  I have 8/7 diamonds on the Big Blind.  The flop comes out 6 spades, 5 hearts, 4, clubs--I bet the pot at this point.  The turn comes out 10 of clubs I lead out with a big raise, my buddy just called.--the river shows a 9 of clubs--I go all in with my 9 high straight, get called and lose to a flush he has 8/Q of clubs.  I know it was a small game but my buddy sucked out on that one.
