With the vandals not meeting NCAA minumum attendance rules, will the vandals get sent back to 1AA?

They honestly probably should go back. I don't know when the last time they even had a winning season was actually?

No, they will not be sent back to 1-AA.  In fact, the Vandals are working on some much needed imporvements and expansion to the Kibbie Dome.  They still have a long road ahead of them to get to be a contender in the WAC on a regular basis, but if Fresno State and Boise State could do it, why not Idaho.  Once they get some stability in the coaching staff, the wins will come.  They will probably come slowly, but I don't see any reason why the Vandals can't be back to .500 ball in about 3 seasons and then continue to build a winning program again.

This team really has no future and has been an afterthought for several years. If the NCAA continues to approve new teams into D1 then they should help/advise programs like this one to slip into a much more comfortable 1AA seat. PLEASE...

The Kibbi Dome ??????????????? What the ...... look for another 3 win season tops.

No chance on going back.  They will contend for a WAC football championship this year.  As for BSU, it was only 10 years ago and they were a 1-10 ball club, after 3 different coaches in as many years.  Stability in coaching means as much as talent in college ball.

What a horrible point to make about college football. Your comments are like a whiff of fresh dog poop.

Our coach is a BSU Alumn and was on one of our 5 conference Championship (tied for the most in the mac) teams. You cant get much more stability than your own ex ALL CONFERENCE linebacker as your head coach now can you Skippy ?????

Idaho Football is a forgotten matter.  Since we play on ESPN five times this season not including our bowl game ,maybe you should tune in for some point scoring from the Cardinals.

Laaaaa hooooo  saaaa her !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They still have a long road ahead of them to get to be a contender in the WAC on a regular basis, but if Fresno State and Boise State could do it, why not Idaho

They have as much chance of making that happen as a wheelchair bound patient has of climbing Everest.   Boise and Fesno are in at least a decent sized metro area, Moscow has maybe 5000 people not counting the students.  They should go back to 1-AA.   As a Bengal it isn't bad, we are competitive in basketball (this year will be best in many years), and at least at the start of the year have hopes of a conference championship and not dreading many 42-6 blowouts.     Idaho has natural rivals in the Big Sky with us, Eastern Washington, and the Montana schools.  I am sure if you desired Boise would still give you their annual drubbing.

Boise you have issues also, you want to be big-time, schedule big-time, don't be afraid to go on the road a bit.  Your body bag game with us does nothing and I mean zip, nada, for your program.  Hopefully we won't be too beat up and can go to Moscow and win one.   Lose the blue turf, if your big time you don't need stupid gimmicks.
