Man, we looked slow against Oklahoma...very slow. I knew we were probably going to lose, but I was hoping for it to be a little closer.

I totally agree. UNT was completely outmanned and outplayed; special teams, offense, defense, size, speed and strength. UNT made a few good plays, but that was about it. I really believe, however, that once the coach settles in, and once the team is "balanced," that we will see the real North Texas . It was, with the embarrassing score, a very humiliating defeat. But, hey, it's the Sunbelt ...

Oklahoma? If you are referring to the Sooners , I totally disagreee. Oklahoma is no joke and neither is the Big 12. The Sooners will be playing some highly ranked teams. Just look at their schedule and can you, still, honestly say that the Sooners don't play "anyone?"

yea i took a look the sooners schedule and the only highly ranked team i see them playing is texas, and texas is lucky to be where their at barly beating arkansas state and hanging on to their other victories and finally showing us something with that last win. The big twelve is ok but i only see the sooners as a real threat to the elite teams in other conferences. and dont turn this into an sec homer thing cause i made no mention of the sec im just giving my opinion on the matter and honestly dont see the sooners playing anyone with the slight exeption to texas. A&M was on the radar till that melt down against miami.

I think North Texas will be able to beat Oklahoma in two to three years. They will be the Hawaii of 2009. Their new quarterback recruit, Riley Dodge, is perfect for the team. He ran the same exact offense in high school. He can throw and run. And his dad is the coach and has been teaching him everything about the spread offense since he was little. Mean Green for a BCS Bowl in 2009 or 2010.

The Sooners will be choking again.
